Taste is very distinct, and not that great. I have tried it in a fruit smoothie and a milk/protein shake. The powder isn't too gritty but the taste isn't the best.

I have tried several plant proteins, and this one is by far the best. It does have a bit of a herbaceous taste, but not overpowering (especially if you are used to plant protein). I love the anti-inflammatory enzymes added! And the fact that it is sprouted AND fermented. Every other plant protein I have tried has left me feeling as lethargic as before I took it. They also frequently have a ton of unnecessary ingredients... but Plant Pro has nothing in it you don’t need - AND it actually aids recovery and gives me the energy that I thought maybe I could only get from animal protein. If you are looking for a good plant protein, I highly recommend this. Just be ready for a little bit of a plant taste (you get used to it pretty fast). Mix it in cold water or a smoothie, drink before it gets warm.

I concur with a few reviews that it is sweet; however, I use a vitimix to blend with kale, spinach and other leafy greens which tend to be pretty bitter. So for my purposes the sweetness cancels out the bitter and the result is pretty tasty. If you are mixing this with water I can see how it can be too sweet for the average person. Also, the texture is fine because I use a Vitamix and I'm blending with leafy greens anyway.

I thought I would try this product because I liked the ingredient profile and high protein content. I also prefer my protein powder to be natural and unsweetened. This product is sweetened with Stevia, which I find to be disgustingly too sweet. I will not be purchasing again due to the sweetness. If they made a version without Stevia, I would certainly try it again. Until then, I will stick with Amazing Grass "The Original" Protein Superfood. Tastes good and no nasty sweetness.

I've tried A LOT of plant based powders and this is by far the best tasting along with the highest amount of protien and lowest sugar.

I’ve been using this product for over a year. It’s a good price point a very clean protein and it’s one of the only vegan proteins that does not upset my stomach. Other products cause stomach upset and gas/bloating Thos product never does that. It’s also blends really well compared to some other brands .

My husband like this a lot, it is not chalky but smooth and easy on the gut. It is too sweet for me however, way too much Stevia for my liking.

Quick delivery I normally buy vanilla flavor. I quite enjoyed this chocolate flavor for a change. You can't mix it with as many vegetables as you can with the vanilla but still pretty yummy Lots of protein, less calories and low carbs! Made in Canada
