Perfect swap for added protein
My dietitian recommended that I increase protein in my diet and mentioned that high protein oats would be a simple swap. I’ve used these for cooked oatmeal and overnight oats. I cannot taste any difference from traditional oats. One thing to note: these take longer to cook for a softer texture. I think they are a little thicker than the average oat. But, they taste great and make for a filling breakfast while providing a boost of protein. I will definitely be buying them again.

LOVE
I love bobs Red Mill and use a variety of his products. I also use the mashed potatoes but I digress. I have been eating steel cut oats for some time and decided it was time to switch back to rolled oats just for a difference in texture. I did not know that he had protein oats and I'm so happy I found these because it added protein is a wonderful touch. These cook well and taste great as everything else in his line that I have tried.

better protein source and good for baking
So we bought this for the first time. My wife is Gluten free so its safe but we were wondering about hte increased hulls or texture that might be harder to digest with a sensitive stomach. So far, no issues. ITs also a great choice for baking our cookies and griding up the oak flakes into more of a flour consistency which makes the cookies easier to digest and still get the same protein content. by them selves it was still very good with a few more hulls which was expected due to the high protein oats they use. Bob Mills is pretty darn good!

Great stuff...add raisins and brown sugar
Love this stuff. Soak your oats overnight for faster cooking in morning. Stupid Costco quit carrying this product and it's a SUPERIOR product over many other oatmeal cereals
