Jim Dunlop Tri Stubby 3.0mm Guitar Picks - 6 Pack

Love the color, love that it's made in the USA and especially love the textured center that prevents slipping. These picks were a bargain. I'd be happy to buy from this company again.

I like to try different picks so I decided to try these and it takes a bit to get used to but once you find the sweet spot they're pretty nice...... definitely worth the money

Great pick for the price point. They sound nice and clear. I love the fact that it does not have that annoying click sound when you play. I plan on ordering more.

The good: These things are slick! They really glide over the strings. Makes picking faster easier, IMHO. The bad: These things are slick! Even with the grippy texture in the center, I perceive them to slip my grip ever so slightly. Takes a little getting used to. To balance it out, it's a big pick, so you can trust though it may slip a little while you're playing, you're definitely not going to lose it. Up until now, I've preferred a Fender celluloid medium pick. A lot of people complain that celluloid isn't very grippy. For whatever reason, celluloid sticks to my fingers like glue. It's a very secure feel for me. And the medium thickness lends a good brightness without being too clicky, and has a good bit of stiffness for fast picking. This pick may not retain 100% of that bright tone, but it comes pretty close. The tapered edge and fairly sharp point help to give the string a good bit of pluck, making for a brighter sound, definitely night and day from tortex picks in similar thicknesses. And there's very little to no click to be heard. Just a very clean sounding, very rigid, very easy playing pick. I may put some grip tape over the center and see how it plays. If it weren't for the slippery feel, I'd give these all 5 stars. Food for thought: I have really really dry hands. Maybe that's why celluloid sticks to me where other people complain that it's slippery. And maybe that's why these slip my grip where other people say they're nice and grippy.

Perfect for beginners or experts, this pick will do you right. It is very grippy, and you will not lose grip no matter how sweaty your hands become. The value for the money is incredible. I am a beginner and find these picks very easy to use for learning guitar. Even for smaller childrens hands.

I have been a long time user of Dunlop's 3.0mm Stubby, and thoroughly enjoy its versatility. I will use it to pick tight and twangy bass solos, as well as give my mandolin a greater dynamic when I am playing with loud musicians. Often times, I'd wear the point to a nub on grinding allegro crescendos! When I saw that Dunlop produced this pick in a 346 shape, I ordered a pack right away. Just like its predecessor, it slays the strings, but now it lasts three times longer! I am already on my second pack, and am seriously considering to order a dozen packs more to hoard!

I'm a fingerstyle bass player but some basslines, either due to speed or tone, seem to need a pick. I've tried various "standard" size picks in different textures, flexes and thicknesses, but they seemed to lack something when it came to playing hard on thicker bass strings. This pick is a much better all around fit for me. They're substantial but comfortable to hold. They have enough grip and surface area to maintain control (and possession LOL) on some harder-played basslines. I like them. Are they for everyone? Maybe not. I imagine your style, genre, and how much you need or want to attack your strings may factor in. I personally prefer a smaller, thinner pick on acoustic or electric guitar I still prefer to play fingerstyle, but when I have to, these picks are my latest go-to. YMMV!

I don’t like regular stubbies. I use jazz 3. But these are comfortable. And shred really nice! I bought on a whim and I really dig these.

Mirala, que ves? Pues sí. Tres púas en una. Cada uno de sus picos es usable. Así tendrá mas durabilidad y además más fácil agarre.

La púa Dunlop es una maravilla en el bajo electrico. Es una púa relativamente grande. Así que, si no estas acostumbrado a púas grandes, posiblemente sea un poco dificil de acomodar. El agarre que tiene es buena. Pero en lugares calurosos, el agarre decae. Posiblemente sea lo malo de esta púa. La pua te hace sudar y esto se traduce a una reducción en su agarre. Pero fuera de todo eso, el ataque que tiene, la facilidad que puede llegar a ser al momento el tocar, son cosas que posiblemente, a una primera compra, vale mucho la pena adquirir.

Suono da parecchi anni la chitarra e qualche mese fa un amico mi ha fatto provare questo mega-plettro. L'ho usato e abbandonato più volte, ma ogni volta ci ritornavo e mi affascina. Non è per il basso, non iniziamo a fare i filosofi: il plettro migliore è quello che ci piace di più, tutto il resto so pippe. Forse perdi un pò di velocità e non è meno sensibile degli altri. Inoltre è comodo se hai delle belle manoni grandi. Secondo me è comunque da provare senza preconcetti e da valutare in base alla propria esperienza-feeling
