The listing for this movie is not clear but for those that are interested this is the Original cut not the new 2002 20th Anniversary version. No CGI, No added CGI bath scene, the government agents still have guns and Michael still wants to go to Halloween as a terrorist. Pure 1982 magic.It has been remastered so no film specs with crystal clear picture.

This Bluray of E, T. Don't buy this bluray 2018. When it gets to the scene where Elliot comes home after not coming back home from loosing ET and Elliot comes back while talking to policeman about where Elliot could be, the bluray glitches and seems to get stuck. This should not happen with brand new bluray. UNIVERSAL should be disgusred with THEMSELVES!! DON'T BUY!!I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS BLURAY M, J, B.

I haven't seen this movie in 20 years so decided to finally buy the Blu Ray. I forgot just how amazing this movie really is even after all these years. Sure its a bit sentimental and sugary in parts but that doesn't take away from the fact that Spielberg created a masterpiece of a family movie. The score by John Williams still gets me today.The blu ray version is excellent in terms of picture and audio quality considering the movie is now 35 years old. The extras on the disc are very good as well.All in all I would highly recommend this movie on blu ray whether you've already seen it or have never seen it. You wont be disappointed.

Fabulous old film which looks very good in blue ray!

Lovely family film restored in pristine condition for this blu ray release.This is the original version of the film and not the interfered with version from a few years back and is all the better for it.

Great film bought as a gift and feel sure it will be enjoyed by many generations.

Good classic film brings back some memories....
