I've had one for more than 10 years and it finally broke. I bought a replacement from Amazon (not this brand) and it broke on first use. Returned that one and bought this brand. It works like my original one so I expect it to last another 10 years. It really works well on hard to open jars. It's a must have for this old lady.

A friend recommend this, and I was not disappointed. Was tired to struggling with the jars. Any age would benefit.

This is my third automatic jar opener. (I don't know if the first one was by this manufacturer ) They are great for opening standard jars, especially for arthritic or weak hands. The first two worked well for a while but the first one stopped after a time and could not be repaired. The second one worked well for a time but I don't think I used it more than a dozen times when, the last time, it wouldn't shut off. I had to remove the batteries.I bought this third one because it is such a helpful product, it's unfortunate that they don't work for very long. I'm hoping this one will be longer lived.

I was hesitant to buy this product at first but I figure why not try it. At times I have a hard time opening up some jars as I’m getting older. My hands are not as strong as they use to be. The only thing I have is a bottle opener that is made out of rubber so that you can get a good grip on the jar, it just wasn’t good enough. I will absolutely say this jar opener is so easy to use. I am so glad that I bought this product. This works really well. Place on top of jar, hold in place, once it grips you can let go and watch it open the jar. I’ve used it in a medium size jar so far. This will not open soda or water bottles. There is actually one out there for that. The brand maybe different. For people that problems opening jars I would highly recommend this product.

I am 65 and was having a lot of trouble opening jars. I kept putting jars back in pantry until my son visited me, so out of frustration, I looked for an alternative. Thanks God I found The Robot Twist. I bought it, and I am happy I did! I sent a picture to my sons, one of my sons said, " Mom, you are officially a senior citizen!"I said, "Your Mama." Yes, a senior citizen! Lol...Anyway, true but I just wanted to make you smile! I love this little gadget! It makes my life a bit easier.PS. I am super active for being a senior citizen! Really this is just the same white-label can opener that all the import companies are reselling, right down to the tell-tale button design.Pretty much all the moving parts are plastic joined together with plastic brushings. It squeaks when you pick it up. It squeaks when you push the button. It squeaks and groans while opening the jar. And after it has broken the jar’s seal it has to keep going on and on, squeaking all the way, to reset to the starting position and release your bottle’s lid.And there’s no shortcut, no fast forward, and no rewind. If you start closing it early by accident (super easy to do with the large button and placement) and it won’t fit over the jar you have to patiently hold down the button another minute as it goes through its painful motions to close and re-open again.While it has so far managed to open several jars it has done so grudgingly and I do not expect it to last long.

Easy to use very efficient and my hands and very happy

This is really cool! It works like a charme. My mother has arthritis in her hand pretty badly and I got this jar opener for her and she uses it with ease. Jars she would struggle with now she dosent have to!!

If you have any kind of problem opening jars, then this is for you. Very easy/simple to use, but be warned that the actual jar opening comes very quickly at the end - the jar opens in a rush !! FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS !!
