The Wizard of Oz really and truly does exist!
Despite my ongoing efforts to keep my household at least semi-organized, it is a never ending, losing battle. I will organize a drawer, cupboard, or closet only to have a tornado descend once again after a few days to weeks leaving chaos and wreckage. The utility closet is one of the worst. It is a small, odd shaped little closet built under the stairs and houses the trash can, recycling can, brooms, mops, and on two shelves exists a melange of tools, tape, screws, spray cans, trash and grocery bags, and on and on and on as if the Wicked Witch of the West had taken up residence and wreaked havoc. However, I resigned myself to the fact that the two shelves would never be organized, but the remainder simply had to be. Once the area was cleaned with the cans and boxes of liners, organized, and the floor cleared, I was faced with the problem of mops, brooms, and dust pans. What to do? I had remembered seeing a hanging contraption in a closet at my sister's house that she "bought a million years ago." So I followed the yellow brick road to Amazon...the Emerald City of Shopping. I found a highly popular and rated rack with clamps where the handles of brooms and mops snap in and hooks interspersed hold dust pans, brushes, rags, etc. When the package arrived there was the wooden rack, a small package of screws to attach the rack to the wall, a pre-measured 16 in hanging guide (a strip of paper with a hole on each end 16 inches apart, the standard distance of the wall stud), and instructions. Somehow, in all of the chaos my husband was able to find his drill and stud finder. After finding the studs, marking the holes, drilling the holes, then using the hardware to anchor the rack on the wall we were astounded to note that only about 15 minutes had elapsed. Immediately the mops, brooms, and other cleaning equipment were hung and getting along peacefully. With things beginning to look up, a miracle happened as if Glenda the Good Witch had taken over my husband's senses! He promised to organize the two shelves the following week when he had 3 days off from work. Finally, finally there was hope in Oz. This mop holder is an attractive 17in x 2.5in solid, nicely stained wood and black metal wall rack with pre-drilled mounting holes on each end as noted 16in apart. The entire process of mounting was straightforward and simple. The rack is very sturdy as are the clamps holding the broom and mop handles which just snap in. The clamps are interspaced with black metal hooks for holding rags, dusters, spray bottles, storage bags or any other cleaning horses of different colors. My utility closet is slowing acquiring courage, a heart, and a brain to gallantly travel further down the yellow brick road of this home's organizational journey. I highly recommend this wall rack without reservation. Doing the job well!
I purchased two of these. They look nice, seem to be of good quality but they’ve only been up for a few weeks. I purchased the model that comes with an adhesive backing as I didn’t want to screw them to the wall. Not that it’s brain surgery, but the instructions didn’t include anything about using the adhesive options. Logically, it’s pretty straightforward but I’m not handy, and some tips or tricks would have been appreciated. All in all, a good value.

A Utilitarian DREAM.
Yes, it is COMPACT! We have a very small space on the wall of our laundry room. This fit that area perfectly. I was being brutally attacked every time I entered the laundry and pantry. BRUTALLY ATTACKED! I've had two strokes; life is hard enough. And with an Alzheimer's parent at home, I needed access to the laundry and the vacuums, swiffers, brooms, and dusters 24/7 and hassle free. I was reaching a point of rage. It's my parents home. So when I finally broke down with the "you know they make these THINGS you can put on the WALL--" and I received "that sounds like something we need," I jumped into my amazon research mode. If you're looking for more space to work with on the holder itself, yes, looking elsewhere would be prudent. It's not long. The brackets and hooks are very close together. You kind of have to hang things up like it's puzzle pieces. As long as you're really thinking with the dimensions and measurements in mind before ordering, and you don't mind that look, I don't think the size will be disappointing. It was exactly the size I needed based on measurements (the pictures are always soooo stupid, aren't they? Ignore those). MOUNTING: super easy. I wish we could have placed it in studs personally but it wasn't possible in this area. It has screw holders and then screws that secure it in place. It needs two; there are two holes; it came with three. Very nice. Love extras. It came with a paper with holes punched in the exact place needed and has step-by-step instructions listed AND pictured. So, I traced the circles onto the wall and pre-drilled the holes. It calls for an 8mm drill bit to pre-drill the hole -- in my experience, most drill bits go by fractions; mine do -- 8mm is 5/16 converted. My set doesn't have that option, so I used a 7/32 to start, which wasn't quite enough so I moved up to my 1/4 drill bit. (Picture: the big one). Instructions then ask you to hammer the screw-holder into the wall (don't get crazy, do it gently; you don't need a wider hole and you don't need excessive force, babe). Once those are in, all you have to do is hold the broom holder in place and gently guide the screws in. I use my drill to do the screwing. It was helpful to have an extra pair of hands for this part but probably not necessary for an ABLE BODY (mine is not). Always screw in one side most of the way, then the other, then tighten each slowly. Again, firm but not excessive! That's The Way. The holding brackets are smooth, with firm but not marring rubber pieces, and all standard round handles could fit into this. My cane could also fit in this. My fly swatters could hang on this. Every swiffer duster or mop in the house. handled or handheld. Our little bissel vacuum. Even our dryer vent wand can hang out. I'm in heaven! Utilitarian HEAVEN! I might buy one for my bedroom. A kitty litter scoop could fit too...! "Ease of cleaning?" Well, I'm not sure to what you're referring, Amazon... I haven't had to clean it, but since it makes cleaning everything else a breeze start and finish, I quite frankly do not care. It so easy to take something down, use it, then put it up. If you're not a brute, it should last you for sure. The laundry and pantry no longer feel like navigating a temple a la Indiana Jones. I purchased the white holder. I'm sure standard cleaners or a little soap and water will do just fine to spiff it up again if it gets marked on somehow. The white matches the washer/dryer and the door/trim. It doesn't look out of place on the wall. Free. I feel free in this little area of home again. TwT

Mostly Nice product
Fir in the wall very well and was easy to hang. Only hard part was actually making it level (not the product's fault). The handle grips are close together so you can't hang anything from the hooks that are too large, like a dust pan or many broom/dust pan set. But it looks great and is working well for my needs

Very well made product.
This was a great purchase. Well made not cheaply made , mounting was super easy and it works great. It’s got soft rubber that helps grip your brooms etc. with a real wood base. Well worth the money. I’m very pleased with how this product turned out. And was surprised at the good quality.

Practical & Stylish Organizer
I love this broom holder! The wood finish adds a rustic, classy touch—way nicer than the cheap plastic ones. It feels sturdy and holds everything from brooms to mops to garden tools with no problem. The rubber grips are strong, and the extra hooks are perfect for hanging dustpans and bags
