Russian Bible, Black Imitation Leather, Handheld BOLD print, Synodal (burgundy cover)

The size of this Russian Bible is perfect - not too large and by no means too small. The cover is pleasantly bendable, and is suitably restrained, having only the word Библия on the front, above an unembellished Roman Cross. The translation itself is eminently readable. I'm no biblical scholar, so I cannot comment on either its accuracy or its pedigree.The print quality is somewhat substandard. I don't know what technical terms to use here, but the lettering is "thin" and causes a slight amount of eyestrain when reading extended passages. And whatever printing process was used is uneven. Some pages are noticeably fainter than others.All of the above would have resulted in a 4 star rating, but this Bible lost an additional star by NOT BEING THE COMPLETE ORTHODOX BIBLE! It has only the 66 books of the truncated scriptures used in Protestant churches in the West. Thus the "It's Okay" rating. I'm grateful to have what is here contained, but would have preferred to have the complete Bible, to include the Deuterocanonical books.
