Easy assembly, robust construction.

This is a nice, sturdy drum stool for kids, smaller folks or anyone who likes to sit lower at the drum kit. Bought so I could set up my electronic kit super low for my 5 year old. Actually ended up putting the pad from my Roc N Soc stool on instead of the included pad for extra comfort, but the included pad is plenty comfortable and perfect for a smaller person. The bottom hardware is solid enough to support my weight as an adult, and even the stock pad felt sturdy enough to support me before I swapped it out.

For 50 bucks, this is a solid throne. The hardware is pretty good and the seat is nice and supportive. I don't weigh anywhere near the 400lb max weight stated but the seat does rock just a little where the post mounts to the bottom of the seat. The threaded steel post looks nice and screws up or down smoothly. However, I can't get it to totally lock in place. Maybe it's supposed to swivel a bit when you're playing. I'm using this on an e-kit, so I'm not beating the crap out of an acoustic kit which would really test the sturdiness. But again, you can pay $225 for a Roc-N-Soc or $50 for this.

The padded seat is fine, but the tubing metal is too thin to hold anything. I measured the wall thickness of the upper/inner tube with a dial caliper at 0.035". When I assembled it and sat on it, the tubing collapsed and I was on the floor (see attached pic). I'm not a big person either (~155 lbs). There is a second problem with this same tube, that being the carriage bolt used to set the height. While the hole spacing is fine (just over an inch), the holes in the inner tube are round, while the outer tube holes are square (to accommodate the square back-end of the carriage bolt). This prevents the bolt square inner head from actually going into the inner tube, and it sticks out almost a quarter inch.

Seat is ok. Not comfortable for long sessions, and it isn't sturdy enough to hold much weight. I'm about 180lbs, and this thing constantly drops down under that weight. It was easy to assemble, and the height is decent for a kids starter set. Decent value overall, but would likely go with a different model for the cushion.

Great bench for the money. Comfortable at 6'-2" and 250. An hour is my average sit time and I remain comfortable throughout.

Needed a quick stand that had easy height adjustments, sturdy, and affordable. This stool hit all of the marks plus it looks cool and the cushion is comfy. Overall great little functioning stool.

This isn't a heavy duty drum stool. It's a cheap stool with a memory foam top that barely fits both cheeks. The base wobbles and is impossible to tighten enough to stop the movement. A guaranteed bad back after a session.

Pretty average. Keeps unscrewing under the seat every time I sit on it. It is quite wobbly at the base as well. Definitely recommend paying s little more for something decent

So this is a good solid product. It doesn't fold up as easily as some other more expensive ones and the seat foam isn't the thickest. For the price, it's very good. Recommended.
