The straps are good

These straps are MUCH too short for even the smallest part of the "roll bar" on a Wrangler JL. Maybe the JLU versions have a narrower second crossbar, but, these will not work for the interior of a the 2 Door Jeep Wrangler JL.They will work on the side parts of the frame, though. And the orientation of the plastic part works to hold a clothing hanger.They don't get very tight - they're easy to remove with just a tug of any part of the strap. But they will hold clothing.So, these are still not what I expected. but they can be used in my Jeep. The ring is also sewn onto the strap near the buckle, so it can't be moved. Not a huge negative, but it does limit the uses.

Was looking for asimething I could use to hang my jacket in my jeep. This works real well. Has adjustable hook and loop strap which works on the roll bar.

I have need this prior had had to rig up something. This works easily and won’t be in the way. You can hardly notice it so it looks great.
