Key Fob Shell Case Replacement Fits for Toyota Camry Corolla Venza Avalon

The neighbor broke her spare key and wanted to replace it. After looking online for her we decided that this was a good replacement at a fraction of the cost. This key is a perfect fit for her 2011 Toyota Venza. It doesn't come with the guts but that is ok since we had them intact. We were able to cut the key just like you cut a house key. After doing that I removed a little chip that that OEM key has and was able to start the car no problem. I put the guts in and it worked. No need to pay hundreds of dollars for a dealer key. Note: There are instructions on what to move from the OEM key to this key. That make it super easy to make the key work. It is really important that the chip is ported over from the old key so the new one can work.

My 13 Toyota Corolla key fob cracked. My mechanic told me to order a key fob and he would replace the inner workings, easy enough only the photo description makes it look as if the key detaches. (It doesn’t fyi) my key is not broken my fob is. I went to 5 stores 3 Home Depot’s 1 Lowe’s and my local hardware store. Good luck finding anyone to cut a key you didn’t purchase from them. I’ve order a shell from another seller on Amazon. I may return this as I cannot use it for anything Notes if your key is broken You won’t be able to get this key cut* If you’re lucky enough to find a way to get the key cut you need the transponder and battery from the old key* The battery is the easy part the transponder is gonna take some work!

This key came in handy it was a perfect match for my car. I didn't have to program it to lock or unlock but i did have to get the chip programmed in order to crank my car but other them that the only thing I would say is i don't like all the different pieces i wish it came as a whole because if it drops to hard all those pieces go flying if it opens up when it falls so thats the only reason ima give a 4 start instead of 5

Initially I thought that I was going have to buy a completely new fob and have it programmed but then a locksmith told me that all I had to do was buy a new shell case, so I bought this one from Amazon and the locksmith put it together and cut the key and my car started right up the first time. This product and the nice locksmith saved me about $400. The total cost of the replacement fob key shell and the locksmith services cost me less that $13!!!
