Very nice. Worth the money!
We purchased these for the solar eclipse in April 2024 as we live in Texas where it was going to be easily viewed...until the clouds rolled in. We did finally get a short look at the eclipse because we did have these glasses that allowed us to see beyond the haze and directly to the sun. I'm so glad I bought them and they're now tucked away in anticipation of the next solar event.

Glasses seem decent; description shows black frames but received white
The glasses seem to be legitimate. They are not marked in any way, but they come with a paper certificate. They are DARK and are mirrored. They do fit over prescription eyeglasses. I put them on inside the house and could not see a thing. I shined a 650 lumen flashlight at my face and I could just barely see the circle of the light. (Normally that would be temporarily dazzling/blinding). So, I can believe that these will provide decent protection for a brief glimpse of the sun. I took off a star because there is no reference to selecting a color, and all the pictures of these glasses show black frames, but the pair I received have white frames. I guess it doesn't matter too much, since I'll only be wearing these when there is an eclipse, so, a couple of times each decade maybe, but it's still annoying. The glasses came with a nice map showing when the eclipse on 8-April-2024 will be visible in various locations. They are definitely a lot nicer than the cardboard ones you see everywhere. Overall these eclipse glasses seem like they should do their job.

Great for watching the eclipse
I got these to watch the eclipse and they worked perfectly. They are a plastic material and only good for for looking at an eslipse so not used for extended periods. You can’t see anything out of them unless looking at the sun, they are blindingly dark so the warning that accompanied them not to wear while driving was a bit of a laugh, but I guess necessary (??).

Better than the paper glasses
These did the job but and for the amount of time using them are fine. The frames are kinda flimsy and the lenses are very thin. I did not play with them because I was afraid they would fall out. They worked fine for the eclipse but I thought they would be a little more sturdy.

These Glasses worked very well
I didn't review these before the eclipse since I wanted to find out how well they worked. I can happily say they worked very well! I had the chance to try some of the lesser expensive paper frame type and the colors and comfort were much better. These were worth the few dollars more than the very inexpensive type. They were also much more comfortable. I did not what the entirety of the eclipse, opting for watching for a while then taking them off and either talking with others or being inside. When you aren't looking at the sun you can't see anything, which is what you really want to protect your eyes!. I like the plastic frames, they were comfortable and fit my head well, were not loose or too tight either. I think I have a normal head, yours may vary.

Good eclipse glass but paper ones had better color of sun.
Overall these are really great glass if you want more sturdiness than the paper glasses. I use them for the April 8th eclipse. I'm glad I bought them, however overall I did like to color of the sun in the paper glasses I bought more, it was more yellow whereas in these glasses it was white. I switched between both during the eclipse so I am glad I had both types on hand. The darkness of the lens is no joke, total darkness which made the outline of the sun crisp. I'll be using the glass to look at the sun beyond the eclipse.
