works fine for a small project
This little actuator fix perfectly in the small space that I had for it. It is marked as having 150N of force and I have no way to measure that but it worked fine for me. I find the push and pull strength to be fine, but I am not sure if the rod will be able to take forces that could try to bend it. In time I will find out. I only needed it to move about an inch but I may have to get one that can move further than that to get the bending strength for the rod that my application needs.

Truly light duty
The product works flawlessly as far as the in and out. If it gets in a bind the end of the cylinder is the weak point. The bind part was my fault as I was testing it but the plastic end that connects to your application is a hollow piece of plastic that will break as mine did.

Weak plastic connection
The first time I used the actuator the plastic connection point on the actuator arm snapped. It is hollow plastic and threaded.

Electric cowl vent
The media could not be loaded. So far this little guy is working for what I need it to do open and close my cowl vent on my 49 Chevy truck

Works great opening a slider on my shed's vent
I have a vent in the top of my shed that the original home owner installed on the side of the shed that tends to get the most weather. I like to keep the vent open, but when it rains, water often makes its way in. I keep a raspberry pi computer in the shed to run an ADS-B receiver. After designing a little circuit and hooking this up and interfacing it into the Pi and my 12v bench power supply I now have a way to remotely control the opening and closing of the slider. Works perfectly. I'm really happy with its performance. It moves smoothly and has no issues pushing the vent cover back and forth.

Great little actuator, comes all set up with switch.
absolutely great little actuator, useful for rc projects, etc. I used this to increase or decrease the tension on my 2 x 72 belt sander so I don't have to do it manually. The short stroke on this made it perfect for that use.
