This slow feeder has been amazing! This fits perfectly in our existing smaller sized stainless steel bowls and you can easily cut to fit if the edges are a little too long. The suction cups work great and are pretty strong. It does not move at all in the bowl. It has helped slow my faster eater down immensely. I love that it is soft and flexible yet very effective. Please keep in mind I have a 10lb chihuahua using this. If you have a fast eater then I highly recommend this one!

I bought this for our dogs 2-cup bowl. It fit his bowl diameter perfectly, but I wish it was taller as 1 cup of food surpasses the height of the silicone maze. Another downside is the kibble crumbs get underneath the silicone, which easily pesters my dogs nose that can still smell food in his bowl. Because of this, it needs regular cleaning, which can be annoying. We probably should’ve just bought a new bowl where the maze is permanent, but we didn’t want to toss his current bowl situations. The silicone base suctions very well, and the maze walls are gentle on our dogs nose. For reference, our dog is a tall, lean 40-pound mix breed; I’d suspect this would work better for smaller dogs who eat less food or smaller kibble.Final note - we feed our dog regular food quite often (shredded boiled chicken, rice, chopped veggies, etc.) and this doesn’t work well for that or wet food since it can get under the silicone mat too easily.

I ordered this for our lil' black pug Milo, who eats entirely too fast for his own good! I have tried several other slow feeder inserts and they did not slow him down. So, I was skeptical about trying another one, but I'm glad I did. This slow feeder insert sticks to the inside of his stainless steel bowl, and my sink, etc. so well, it never comes loose or falls out and he does not chew on it. It has slowed him down so he's not choking on his food or "snorting" because he's not breathing properly while he eats. It's very easy to clean and we've had it for quite a while now and it still looks and performs like a new one! I'm very happy with this product.

Our puppy was eating his food in less than a minute and it was driving me crazy. I already had a dog bowl that I loved, so I crossed my fingers and bought this. It's perfect! It slowed him down and now he takes 3-4 minutes to finish his meals. Our bowls are stainless steel and this suctions perfectly to the bottom. I'm so pleased with this product!

It fits nicely in a dog bowl. My dog use it with no problem for the first few days. Then she pulled the rubber slow feeder out of her bowl and chewed it.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great product. My 9 month old Doberman usually eats his food within a minute or two. The first few times he used it, it took him 10+ to eat. He did get frustrated toward the end when the pieces were harder to get but at that point I usually just remove the insert since there is so little food left. Only complaint is the insert is not tall enough for the bowl we use but totally worth the buy!!

My pup inhales his food. Now he eats for 4 ish mins. The suction works well because he wrestles with the bowl and it stays on. He’s after walking off with his (ceramic) bowl too while biting onto the slow feeder.

So great for getting dog food all over your kitchen!Your dog can grab onto the rubbery soft texture of this with its teeth and then upon lifting their head- it should pop off of the bowl- releasing the suction seal, and dog food goes flying!So… is this effective at slowing down the speed your dog eats?Absolutely!! Because now, your dog will need to collect his or her food from the various parts of the room that it has landed in!Terrific way to make sure my dog doesn’t eat too quickly.
