Looks and feels very high quality
Extreme good quality, bracket's and ends give banister a high quality finish, fitter found quite heavy to hold onto when fitting needs two for holding in place.

Nice but colours differ
I decided to buy on line as opposed to a certain well known DIY chain as one of the reps advised me that its cheaper on line than in store. Only difference is that you cannot really check the rails; mine, like a previous review, had one a different colour to the other two.no real big issue since they are separated by the chrome fixings but be aware. As other reviewer stated, take your time on the measurements and it really is a 30 min job. I bought a new masonry drill (10mm) and the right fixings for the screws provided (there are no plugs for the wall) and up in no time; you have to drill the wood before screwing the end caps and rails in!!!Overall a really simple job once measured up; looks good and nobody commented on the odd colour one yet!

Good overall
Screws attaching hardware to rail were too long & of dubious quality & strength, had to substitute for something more suitable, however product was very good overall and the client was pleased.

Exceptional quality, very robust - reassuringly so.
Exceptional quality, very impressed. The chrome fittings are solid and robust and fit perfectly on the banister rails. The fitting instructions are clear and providing you start from the centre of your stair case and work outwards as per the instructions then it is simply down to your own DIY skills. I have to say that once the the middle section had been fixed to the wall l aligned the two ends by sight rather than being reliant on measuring - each to their own. The fixings do not come with raw plugs so you need to determine whether you are attaching to block or hollow board. I was doing so to block so used masonary plugs which needed 12mm masonary drill to accommodate the screws supplied. That in itself gives you an indication of how robust the handrail kit is - reassuringly so. Very pleased with end result - see picture. Happy to recommend and/or field questions.

This is an excellent product.
The timber and fittings are first class. Please read the instructions thoroughly particularly about measuring the correct height of the rail in relation to the stairs. Instead of marking the wall with a pencil line I measured three points at the bottom, mid and top of the wall where the rail was to be mounted. I then put a small tack in the wall at the top and bottom end of the rail positions and stretched a piece of coloured string between them to give a perfect guideline for attaching the brackets having checked that the string passed through the centre mark. It is essential that you drill suitable pilot holes in the rails as they are oak. Once all the measuring, marking and checking had been done it took less than 20 minutes to assemble and fix the rail. Excellent product, well packaged and received on time.

Poor Finish
I ignored a couple of reviews on handrail colour mismatch, having decided I can use a little Oil to Match. However the Brackets were poorly finished that showed through the Croome platting. The Supplier was very helpful and arranged a second delivery. Part that delivery was also poorly finished but I made one Good Out of the Two Kits and Must say for the Price the Item looks very nice.

Great product spoilt by cheap screws
Great product spoilt by cheap screws - we were really pleased with the wood / brackets and end caps and its an easy fit.The whole thing was spoilt by cheap screws that disintegrated with both hand and electric screwdrivers. Tops ripping out - screws breaking - took longer to remove broken and damaged screws than anything else and this resulted in some fittings getting damaged. Yes I did pilot drill - yes the torque was set on the driver - screws spoilt a good product.
