Light, small and portable and it can charge up to two other devices at the same time
This review is for the ICV 90W Universal Laptop Charger with Dual USB Ports AC Power Adapter and Multi Tips for HP Lenovo Toshiba Asus Acer Samsung Sony Gateway and more notebooks£32.99 at the time of review. You get a power supply, a figure 8 lead with a UK plug, 12 adapter tips, a small carry bag and an instruction book which describes the different tips, what manufacturer they could fit and the power supplied by it, as well as some general advice. The power supply/charger is lightweight and easy to carry which makes it a great PSU to take with you if you are out and about. An LED shows it is switched on and supplying power. Under normal use (i.e. just supplying power to my HP laptop) it worked exactly the same as the original PSU and didn’t heat up at all. When I charged two devices at the same time as this, the PSU got quite warm, but not worryingly so and once the phone and tablet were charged and disconnected, the PSU returned to its starting temperature quite quickly. The twin USB ports are only rated to 2.1A so are not PD or fast delivery, but they did the trick and got there without any fuss. Note that there is no USB C or other USB adapter with this but if you have a USB A to USB C lead, it will work, albeit more slowly. Some manufacturer’s PSUs are huge – this PSU is amazingly small and light and is vastly more portable than some of the larger ones that come with your laptop. I’ll certainly be taking this with me on my next outing and not the HP one.Manufacturers’ PSUs are notoriously more expensive and you can get some that are a little less expensive than this one, but this one gets a thumbs up over the competition. If your laptop’s PSU has gone faulty and you’re looking to replace it or you have a large PSU and are looking for something more portable, then I would thoroughly recommend this one and am happy to give 5 stars to this universal laptop charger with USB ports.

More expensive than many replacement chargers
I needed a new charger for my Lenovo laptop, as the old one is held together with insulating tape.Fortunately this charger comes with a selection of 12 different tips, and one of them fits my laptop perfectly, and does the job very nicely.A couple of points to make are 1. If you want it to charge a specific laptop, and nothing else, this is more expensive than many third party replacement chargers, and 2. It says it is Universal, but then they include a disclaimer to say that it actually isn't universal at all, and powers 98% of laptops. Somehow I doubt that claim, because there are a lot of brands not covered in the description.I take issue with the use of the word Universal, and they would better describe it as Mostly Universal, because unless 100% of laptops are covered, Universal is misleading, and unless you read this at the bottom of one of the photos, you might be disappointed. If you want this to power 1 or more different devices, then it makes absolute financial sense to buy this. If you only want it as a replacement charger for 1 device, I would recommend looking at cheaper alternatives. The product is well made, and comes nicely boxed, and I am really pleased with it. Hopefully when it comes time to replace my laptop I will be able to keep this as a spare charger.

A pretty decent, wee, replacement charger....
At £32.99, at the time of writing,This :ICV 90W Universal Laptop Charger with Dual USB Ports AC Power Adapter and Multi Tips for HP Lenovo Toshiba Asus Acer Samsung Sony Gateway and more notebooksLooks to be a pretty decent, wee, replacement charger.But...Is it any good?Is it good value? Will I get a lovely cup of tea 🍵, at any point during this review? And a biscuit 🍪?Let's find out, as we take a closer look... 👀...It arrives in a pretty plain, boring old cardboard box. It's a low-key arrival, and first impression.Out of its neat wee packaging, it comes with:1 x laptop charger with UK plug12 x various charging tips1 x InstructionsVery neat. The charging tips will fit a huge variety of laptops, all listed above and in the instructions.Check carefully to see if your laptop is compatible. If it's not listed, contact the manufacturer, who will be happy to clarify.I tested with my wife's current HP laptop, and it worked equally well as her branded charger, with similar charging times. We also dug out her old Acer rig.It worked like a charm also.We had no old charger to compare it to, as the old one broke. It's nice to see the old guy again... and to have a viable power supply for it again. It was all hassle-free and very easy to use.I'm very impressed by this wee charger, and it will make a useful piece of kit to keep around.Just in case.Definitely recommended.I hope you enjoyed our time together 🤎🤍🖤.Thank you for reading my review 🤗.

Lightweight and great for travelling universal PSU with 2 usb A charging ports
The power supply comes with a figure of 8 lead UK plug, 12 assorted adapter tips for different laptop brands, apparently it fits 98% laptops and most of the main brands. I also includes a a small carry bag and booklet with info on the types of tips to use depending on manufacturer. On the adapter there are 2 usb 2.1A ports that allows you to charge your devices, unfortunately not PD nor does it have usb c port though an adapter can be used. The PSU is fairly small and lightweight compared to some original PSU making it perfect for traveling and reducing bulk especially with limited on board space these days.
