Teal and Red Copper Enameled Art Brooch, Leaf or Feather Fun Pin

A bright contemporary pin in a teal and red pattern to enjoy as a brooch or a lapel pin. The leaf or feather shape was formed from hand cut and shaped copper and coated with many layers of vitreous enamel under high heat in a kiln. My experimental enamels incorporate opaque and translucent-transparent areas and the more transparent parts reveal polished metallic surfaces underneath which reflect light and surroundings. This fanciful pin is one of a kind. It is a piece of art jewelry inspired by nature. Pin measures about 3 1/2" (90 mm) long and about 1 1/4" (32 mm) wide at the widest.
