Superb WrenchSPBW-18 Heavy Duty Metal Water Filter Housing Wrench (4.24 inch Inside Diameter)

Heavy duty is right. Thick metal with a good heft to it. Nice length to get a very stubborn water filter housing off, after having spent about an hour trying it by hand previously. Just took about 10 minutes total. It's not a perfect fit, but I think that is because of the generic filter than the wrench itself.

This wrench works great. I purchased this after having two plastic wrenches break on me. The second wrench broke the very first time I used it and still failed to get the filter housing off. This wrench was worth every penny as it made the job easier, will last a lifetime and can easily be used as a weapon if need be! I will be purchasing another larger one of these for my other water filter.

size of measurement was not sufficient in diagram.I called the manufacture, got a way to send request for request of making or selecting a different choice of wrench but no email returned to me.this was the third wrench I bought through amazon. I am just holding it, not much of a return person.

Great item. The water filter wrench that I always used to change my water filters broke. It was plastic and I had trouble removing the filter one day and pulled a little too hard. I went to find a replacement but couldn't find one anywhere. I then came across this one and it fit perfectly. The best part is that it is metal and will never break. It comes in different sizes so you can order the one that will fit your personal size filter and feel good that this will be the last filter wrench you will ever buy. Highly recommend!!

Worked like a charm and save me $$$

My plastic wrench broke after 3 years. This Super Wrench should last a life time. Fits filter housing perfectly and long handle gives high leverage and control.

Tines are .3” long each so actual diamter from tine to tine is 4.24-.6=3.64” so will not fit over 4.24” filter housing. Had to buy the next size up to get 4.2 from tine tip to tine tip. So subtract .6 from listed diameter to determine if this will fit over your housing

this is the best one I have used it fits the Pentek 158007 3/8" NPT 10" housings and probably some others but thats the one I got it for and it took a while to figure out the one I needed I ended up with 3 other ones of different sizes just trying to figure out what one I needed but I need 2 of the other ones for a different filter setup so thats not bad
