Walkers Gluten Free Shortbread 140g - Pack of 2

Its a gift I send to dad, he loves them.

Tastes like a Walker's cookie but has a drier, chalkier texture. Also, it made my stomach feel a little sour afterwards.

These cookies are tasty! I’ve had and loved the regular (non gluten-free) ones for years. Now that I absolutely cannot have gluten, I was very excited to learn that Walker’s makes gluten-free. Although they are not as buttery as the original, they taste pretty good. I would’ve given more stars overall and rated them as giftable but every single cookie in the package was crumbled due to the packaging. Both boxes I purchased arrived in a flimsy Amazon bubble envelope, which didn’t provide adequate protection. Other reviews had the same complaint. I don’t know why Amazon used this type of packaging for something so fragile. I’ll consider purchasing these cookies again and try the chocolate chip but I’ll order directly from Walker’s website.

I have been a long time lover of Walkers non-GF shortbreads for decades. My wife is also, but has celiac disease. I bought these for her and she is a fan. Not much GF stuff is as good or better than its glutenFULL counterpart, and that is true here, to be honest. But, I thought they were still tasty - just not as good as the ones with gluten. We only opened one of two boxes so far and had literally one cookie broken while the rest were intact, so I guess we got luckier than others complaining about shattered cookies. My wife gives them a thumbs up. Personally,. I'll stick with gluten.

Loved the buttery sweet shortbread cookie. Could not tell it was gluten free. However the package arrived and all the cookies were broken into multiple pieces. Very disappointing

I love the cookies themselves. They are the best gluten free cookies going. But the vendor shipped the in such a way that they arrived as crumbs, completely beaten up. If there is a vendor that can actually get them to me intact, I will order them again. Until then, nope.

The flavor is similar to wheat based shortbread cookies. The lowered rating has to do with the shoddy plastic bag packaging.

Most gluten-free cookies aren't worth the calories but these are pretty good. Texture is not too dry and they're not overly sweet. A good cookie.
