I.C. Collections Big Girls White Simple Empire Waist Slip, 8-14

This slip runs very large. I ordered the 12, and all my daughter's dresses are 12, but the slip was like 2 sizes too big. I didn't have time to exchange it, so I hemmed it about 5 inches. Not only do the sizes run large, the slip is very sheer. It looks opaque in the picture, but believe me, you can see everything under it. It's like a see-through slip! The only thing I like are the adjustable straps, and the shape of the slip. Had I seen this in person I would have not purchased it. Too bad you can't really find slips in the stores these days.

It is a decent slip, and really did well at covering up what it needed to cover. It wasn't what I would call exceptional quality material, but it also wasn't flimsy or cheap. I had such a difficult time finding a child's slip, and really was thrilled to find this one. My one real issue with it was that it ran bigger than pictured. My daughter wears a size 8, and I ordered the appropriate size according to the chart. However, it fell below her knees, and with the straps as small as they would go the top barely covered up her chest area. I would like to add that my daughter is a little shorter than most 8 year-olds, but typically not that much shorter.

This slip was for my granddaughter to wear in a wedding. We had tried 4 stores to try and find a plain white slip. Even the bridal shops didn't have plain slips. The fit was terrific and she wore it with a very thin flower girl dress and it was just what we needed.

I bought this thinking it would be short enough for my daughter but it turned out to be pass the knee. Not like in the picture. We had to safety pin her slip up so it didn't keep coming down father the the dress which was right above the knee barely.

Much longer than expected and very sheer but it did the job. My daughter loves it and says it's comfortable.

I figured based on the reviews that this slip would be large and it was. I am going to have to hem it, but my daughter is pretty not very tall and the dress styles now are on the short side. Overall, this slip is a good buy. It is impossible to find girls' slips in stores anywhere, so I am forced to buy online.

I thought it would be shorter for my granddaughter to wear under her shorter dresses, very disappointed that it is just as long as some of the others I have ordered. She wears a size 10 dress and I ordered a size 8 slip, it is too long right now for most of her dresses.

It is too long. The slip looks short in the picture. Most of my daughter's dresses are above the knee. The slip is a couple of inches below her knee, and she can't wear it with the dress I purchased it for.
