Like a Wiim Ultra, Only Better!
Are there steamers out there that have higher sound quality? Sure. Are they 2-3 times the price of the Eversolo? Absolutely! For around $700 this all-in-one streamer / DAC is a fantastic buy. I also own a Naim Uniti Atom and a Wiim Ultra and this streamer is a lot closer to the $3000 Naim than it is the $300 Wiim Ultra.Connectivity: I have mine connected via ethernet, so the connection is quite stable for streaming, but I also tried wifi 6 and that was just about as stable. It has all the analog and digital connections you could want on the back (although NO headphone output, so keep that in mind). The internal DAC is great and sounds as good as any DAC that I own.Size: It's relatively small in size (around 12" x 8"). so it fits nicely on a desk or nightstand. In addition, it's not very heavy (unlike the Naim Uniti!).Functionality: You can stream almost any available service (Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, etc..) effortlessly. I stream Tidal using the DMP-A6 as a Roon endpoint and the sound if phenomenal through all of my middle end speakers. The user interface is very easy when you use the Eversolo App on your iPad/iPhone and the LED screen is quite beautiful displaying album art and song details. You can even change it to display a parametric EQ or VU meters (very neat!).Setup: Setup is quite easy and the Eversolo App really simplifies everything. Most people who are looking at this will have zero issues setting up and having it streaming within a few minutes. For others, YouTube videos are your friend!Quality: The box exudes quality with solid materials, solid buttons / dials, and a nice solid feel. All in all, this a phenomenal deal considering the price and sound quality. I highly recommend the Eversolo DMP-A6 and plan to buy further Eversolo products in the future. Five stars!

It’s Awesome
The DAC is incredible, probably neutral, does not appear to change brightness or warmth, which is what I was wanting. the user interface and app are excellent, there is zero latency with the app. The streaming services work well and fast, though Apple Music is only lossless, for high res you have to use the included app on the EverSolo, Qobuz and Tidal and AppleMusic work well. I have not used the room correction or DSP so cannot comment on that. The display is absolutely astonishing and the touchscreen is highly accurate. This is hifi gear that just works, it’s intuitive and sounds absolutely stunning. Oh and the unit does not even get warm… At least not the way I’m using it (streaming-dac-analog out) and it’s in a cabinet behind a glass door… it’s a value for the price and I have yet to have any network issues or bugs. Good job EverSolo, well done..

Impeccable build, great sound, but UI doesn't seem quite there
The build quality of this unit is incredible. It looks absolutely phenomenal and seems fairly robust, the screen is immaculate, and the knob has a decent feel. The inputs also seem to be very high quality. In addition, this thing sounds great. I have it mated to my Marantz Model 30 and use it for streaming and running audio through my TV's optical output. My main qualm is that the UI is clunky. The screen control feature on the Eversolo app is grainy and a bit laggy. Using the device via the screen is far better, but it's about 8 feet away from me on a console, so it's just not practical. I took advantage of the Qobuz trial that comes with this and it's integration with the Eversolo is terrible. I'm not sure if this is a failing of the Qobuz app or the Eversolo, but it will regularly play audio on both my phone and my system, requiring me to close out of the app. Queuing songs also results in a momentary pause in the audio, which dampens the experience. The Spotify integration is also less than ideal, if not non-existent. It requires you to run the android version of the app on the Eversolo and use Spotify on your device to connect. The process is ultimately a step beyond what my reasonably tech-savvy wife is willing to do. Finally, the remote (which isn't included) is virtually useless beyond powering on the unit and waking up the device from screen-saver mode, which--IMO--shouldn't activate when you're streaming music. As a slight aside, the Eversolo should really come with some kind of room correction feature if the Wiim Ultra offers this at a third of the price. I've read the Wiim's RC is hit or miss, but something is better than nothing here, IMO.All in all, I like the Eversolo but the UI just seems a bit underbaked. I've heard this complaint for other streamers, so maybe it's that the interfaces for these devices need to be improved across the board.
