This Terminator was one of the easiest RJ45 plugs I have ever installed on the end of a raw cable. Cat 7 cable fit perfectly and the instructions were very understandable.

It only takes less than 10 mins to job done.

I used these to wire my entire house and couldn't be happier. These CAT7 Keystone Jacks are incredibly easy to install, and the final look is fantastic. They've added a real touch of "charm" to my home-the ethernet outlets look clean, professional, and high-end. If you're doing a home networking project, don't hesitate on these.

So I was able to get these connected to some rather thick cat 6a cable at about 5 minutes per. One of the twelve had a metal failure which I've learned is somewhat typical of these types of products. But the other 11 installed nicely into my patch panels (all on the first try), and worked well with a new brand of cat 6a shielded cable I've started purchasing (24AWG stranded copper) for short runs and patching. I did find it necessary to use a pliers in order to get the load bar completely connected to the jack so it could be closed. With other keystone jacks I can usually get them paired with just my hands. I didn't see what gauges these are intended to work with, but I used these with the mentioned 24AWG wire. These don't work with 26AWG as I've found with other keystones from the same company, but I've learned that keystones in general tend to be very finicky as far as what type of gauges they do and don't work with. One aspect specific to this brand is the self ratcheting cable closure vs most others that require a zip tie. That said, I prefer using zip ties since I can get much tighter closure (using my own 6", not the tiny vendor supplied). In any event, I'm happy with the 11 I got installed and may purchase more if I continue to get thicker gauge cable (22-24AWG), and the failure rate doesn't increase.
