Everyone Can Draw: Step-By-Step Instuctions for Artists

Don't think you can draw? Then trying this book could give you the confidence to keep trying until you realize you can draw. Drawing people, for me, consisted of stick figures with out of proportion heads; my drawings looked like a five year old drew them until I started reading and doing the exercises in the book. The book is easy to understand because it's written very well and has a lot of illustrations for every step of the way. My drawings look better and I plan to continue practicing so that I can draw very well. Thanks to this book, it now seems possible!

There are better learn-to-draw books out there. This one is okay, but if you really want a great book about learning to draw, get You Can Draw in 30 Days by Mark Kistler. It is easy and fun and gives you realistic-looking drawings right away. Everyone Can Draw would be okay for drawing exercises after the Kistler book

Exactly as described and expected. The book itself seems like a good starting aid to the learner. It takes you forward in achievable steps and you can surprise yourself.
