All-round best Urban/Everyday Carry Item.
There is a lot of debate and opinions on what everyday carry equipment to have. I was surprised to find that this Victorianox product is the one I have found to be the all-round best that I would recommend. Especially for urban carry. It is specifically the Lite version that is best though. It will slip into pretty much any wallet and I love this product.

Practical, compact, excellent quality
The Swiss Card Lite is a very practical toolkit. This is my second, after my last one was taken by airport security. Most airports let it though in hand luggage with no problem. On one trip an electrical outlet in the holiday flat I was staying at became shorted and disconnected the supply to all socket outlets late in the evening. No chance to get someone to fix it at that time and I lost internet, TV etc. Using the Swiss Card Lite I could open the outlet cover, disconnect the wires (I isolated them using band aids) and reclose the cover, allowing me to reconnect the electricity supply. Very practical, small and light, can be carried anywhere. The price may be a little steep but the quality is unbeatable, making it worth it for me.

Useful and always there
Unlike lots of good multitools or similar items, this card is so small that you can have it with you in your wallet or carry bag at all times so you never need to remember to take it. The tools are not the type you would use for regular tasks or work in the same way as a larger Leatherman for example, but are ideal for many everyday annoyances and quick fixes. This version is more of a fixit tool than the other version with the nail file etc. I especially wanted the screwdriver tool, which is great for when screws in your sunglasses or other items come loose. The tweezers are great for ticks or splinters and the steel pin is perfect for clearing or adjusting the washer jets on the car. The little torch is a useful bonus in areas like ours when you can't even see the door lock after midnight because the street lights go off. Quality and design seems up there with what you would expect from Victorinox. Overall I love this little tool and it is great value.

Improvement on the original; still an essential item.
My original red Swiss Card was a lesser model which came with just the blade, the toothpick, the tweezers, the pen, the pin, the nail file, the screw driver and the two rulers. Of those, the nail file and the pen were the only two I never used. This card (or rather, the blade from it) was lost on a recent work trip to Finland and so I decided to treat myself to a replacement while I was buying my new Huntsman knife. This model is a marked improvement; the nail file is replaced with the far more useful scissors and the light (a small, but functional, LED) and magnifying lens are both added. The light has already come in handy this week when I was walking my dog at night and he stepped on something sharp. The magnifying glass I have yet to use and I suspect I rarely will but the rest of the card is extremely useful and I find need for one aspect of it or another at least once a day. Also, and this is largely irrelevant but is a small bonus for me; the black colour makes it much less noticeable in my wallet.

Very useful
Carry this around with me everywhere. I always have it in my pocket. I always find it handy to have on me and have used it many times. I have however gone through 3 of these as over time, the tool bits stop locking as nicely in the card as you pull them in and out with use. (Not all bought on amazon). One of the few things i always carry with me but i wish it wasn't as expensive as it is the sort of thing you will have to buy multiple of over time depending on how often you use it (wear and tear). Still enjoy the product but once the one i am using wears out i might either wait for a special offer or an alternative for the next i buy.

Handy for a present
I got one of these years ago and use at least one of the tools probably every other day. It goes everywhere with me. I've bought as gifts for friends and family several times over the years and they've been gratefully received and well used by all.

Two years of being inside my wallet
I have been carrying this Victorinox Swiss card in my wallet for over two years and so far I’ve been impressed it’s one of those things that you buy because it looks good and you know you’re probably never going to use it but I can tell you that’s not true so far I have found the small tweezers good for removing splinters it has a pen for when you can guarantee you need one but you haven’t got one small screwdriver/tool and a nice pair of sharp scissors a small knife is good for opening packages , a small magnifying lens and ruler and the main part of the card has a small LED torch and the button is nicely placed so when it’s in the wallet I can turn it on without removing it from my wallet ideal for finding things that you dropped in the dark and one thing that has been a lifesaver is the small pin that is in the main body of the card between the pen and tweezers I have use this in an emergency when my washer jets blocked on the motorway and I was able to use this to clear the holes in the jets to get water on the screen so for me it has been a really useful tool that some people will see in a bit of a gadget you won’t use but believe me when you’ve got it you will find you will use it

Victorinox kalitesi...

After having this for awhile, I think its about time for me to write an adequate review for this. I will be doing a general overview of this, and then I will be going into each of the tools and how well they function. Here we go. General Overview : This is a slim compact multitool that comes in at just slightly smaller than a credit card as seen in the image (the cardstock was actually traced with the pen from this Swiss Card and then cut out using the scissors from it as well). The total thickness is that of about three credit cards. It comes with a small pen, a small pin, a pair of tweezers, a small knife, a pair of compact scissors, a four bit screwdriver, a magnifying lens, a small flashlight, a small cm ruler on the front, a small inch ruler on the back, and the battery for the flashlight comes included. This is also incredibly light weight. Tool breakdown The Pen : The pen included is located at the top of the card, right above the knife. It comes in at almost 2.75 inches in length (measured with the ruler on the back of the card). It writes in blue ink, and is very consistent in its lines when writing. With it being very small, its very good at scratch notes or if you need a pen for a quick signature or something. I have had a few moments where it did save the day. While you will lose some penmanship with its small size (see the blue writing in the picture versus the black ink from my normal use pen), it is still a very good and welcome addition. The Pin : The pin included is located right below the pen, and is 1 inch in length (measured with the ruler on the back of the card). It is very thin, and also very sharp. While you might not think that you would need a pin in your pocket, I can assure you, when you need one, you really need one. I had one terminal on my friends vehicle that got clogged up, and without this pin, it would have taken awhile to clear it out. It has come in handy on more than one occasion. In order to pull it out you will have to use your nail, and pull back slightly before being able to grab it all the way. The Tweezers : The tweezers are located below the pin, and nestle between the blade and the scissors. They measure about 1.75 inches in length (again measured with the ruler on the back of the card). They are very springy, and while not the strongest tweezers in the world, they are more than adequate enough to remove splinters, pull hairs, remove small little tags of skin, or whatever you may need to use them for. The Magnifying Glass : The magnifying glass is located below the tweezers, and magnifies to what I believe is about 3 times magnification. This is especially useful when having to remove splinters with the aforementioned tweezers, or just using to read fine print if you have to. Its a welcome addition because when you are put into a situation where you need a magnifying glass there is literally nothing else that you can substitute. The four headed screwdriver bit : This comes with two sizes of standard and Philips heads. The smaller of the two standards can work on screws as small as eyeglass screws, and the Philips heads work well on all sorts of objects. I have a son, and when it comes to swapping batteries in his toys and controllers this works a treat and is always on me. The Flashlight : The flashlight is located directly across from the magnifying glass, with the on off switch positioned on the flat side of the card, opposite the rulers. To turn it on and off simply slide the switch towards the LED bulb for on, and back again for off. It is a stiff switch, so you have no fear of it accidentally turning on in your pocket. To replace the battery all you need to do is, in the off position, pull backwards on the switch and it will pop out for you. Then just insert your new battery and put back in and press forward. This will put it into the off position again. The light is not very bright, but if you drop something and you need to look for it under the couch, or need to walk around your house at night, or just need a wee bit more light than what you have its very nice to have a small flashlight in hand. The Scissors : The scissors are located right above the flashlight and measure almost 3 inches in length (measured with the ruler on the back). I personally use these pretty much every single day. They are fantastic at normal everyday cutting tasks, and retain their sharpness quite well. They are strong enough to clip a fingernail if you need to, and sturdy enough not to twist. Orientation does matter though when you go to put them away inside the card. The eyelet needs to be on the bottom, closest to the flashlight. It will then slide in and the other arm of the scissors will lock it in place. To pull it out you use your nail to pull back before getting ahold of it. The Knife : The knife is located above the scissors up near the top of the card. It measures in at about 1.5 inches in length (measured with the ruler on the back). It comes very sharp, sharp enough to shave some hairs on the arm. With its small compact size it is a non threatening knife, so you can use it in public without anyone batting an eye really. I use mine almost every single day and it has retained its edge very well. The blade is sturdy as well with the ability to do some small plunge cuts without the blade bending or the tip chipping. Orientation is VERY important to know on this one. It will only go into its slot with the Victorinox logo facing outward. That being said, that means that the blade edge is FACING UP when you pull it out, so keep that in mind when going to use it that you will most likely need to flip the blade before using so as you do not think the spine is facing up and then accidentally cut your finger (this did happen to me, not bad, but enough to warrant tell you). This is the ONE thing I wish they would fix, just turn the blade so the edge is towards the scissors and not facing upward. The Rulers : The rulers are located on the opposite side of the card from the light. The front face is in centimeters, and the back is in inches. It has a sloped front so that way the centimeter ruler is flush with the surface. The centimeters measure up to slightly over 7 centimeters. The inches measure 3 inches exact. Build Quality : This card is built like a tank. I have dropped it, stepped on it by accident, sat on it, and pressed on it and it never even budged. It is still straight as an arrow with no indicators of even remote or slight damage. All the tools are of the highest standard, and everything is purposeful and useful every single day. The light weight build means that it will disappear in your pocket, and the size makes it to where if you carry a wallet then this will be just another little piece in your pocket without being a burden. It could easily slip into any pouch, wallet, or pocket and be right at home. Overall I think that this is a fantastic tool, and it has become my everyday carry. When I go anywhere I may not bring all my stuff with me, but I always grab my cell phone, my wallet, and this swiss card. It helps me every single day, I am very happy with it and I assure you that you will be as well!
