LKB Remanufactured HP940 Printhead C4900A C4901A Replacement for HP Officejet with Pro 8000 8500A 8500A Plus 8500A Premium (1BY, 1MC) 2 PK-US

My old HP printer has run a ton of prints and copies and is 5 years old so when the print heads acted up and would not align I didn't think it was worth nearly $150 for new print heads. Before tossing an otherwise nice printer to the trash (and having spare ink that could not be returned) I took a chance on the LKB print heads for under $30 for both. I gotta say my expectations were low, but I'm really impressed. The heads went in easy and after I replaced an one empty ink cartridge the printer worked again. Most of my printing is in color and the new heads do a good job. I'm not going to say perfect prints. The lines are VERY close but maybe not what they were when new. That said - this printer has made many thousands of pages and should be worn out so the minor alignment issues in the print are probably a function of the wear and tear on the printer. No bad codes or other issues have popped up. The printer accepted these print heads like factory. Just FYI - the printer will go through about 5+ minutes of setting after the heads are changed.

Just looked up "printer heads" on Amazon and found this company for a fair price (especially compared to genuine HP replacements). Was skeptical about ordering remanufactured ink or printer heads, but figured it was worth trying. WORKS GREAT!!! I'm VERY pleased with my product! Delivery was FAST! And they even threw in a little Chinese Doily. So cute! Like this little added surprise! There is a warranty on their product, instructions, printing problem solutions. I am very excited to give this product 5 stars. I read the earlier reviews about nonHP printheads before ordering. I knew that HP proprietary devices might block these printheads, but at this price it was worth a try. It did take 2 sets and time and patience with the printer. But LKB was responsive and replaced the printheads when they didn't work. They actually refunded my money when the second set didn't function, but I persisted with the printer and am delighted to have a working, color printer at a fraction of the HP price. I will contact them to reinstate payment.

Fast shipping. I removed power completely from the printer, shook the new printer heads gently for a few seconds, installed them, powered up, and let the printer do it's alignment process successfully. Printer is working like new again, highly recommended and great price.

My HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A will not align these printheads. They continuously FAIL to align. If I tell the printer to print something from the computer, it tells me the printheads need to be aligned. So I go ahead and tell it to align and it tells me alignment FAILED, it prints a couple of pages in color and then it prints the document I asked for. The next time I ask it to print it goes through the same procedure. I have wasted so much ink. I can make black and white copies from the printer just fine but nothing from the computer without this major problem.6/22/2020 Well I had put my old HP printheads back in printer to be able to print from my computer as I was wasting so much ink. I cannot print in color but I can print black/white.

One of the printheads was damaged and would not work in my printer. This company replaced the damaged item with no problem. Excellent and prompt service. I will order from them again.

I am beyond impressed. My printer had been printing pretty spotty, and aligning the printheads was no longer working. I ordered these replacement printheads, thinking it was a good step to try before buying a new printer. I looked up the steps on the HP site for replacing the printheads, followed them and it worked! I am not the most technology-savvy person, but could follow the steps and achieved success!

Purchased a set of print heads for an HP Officejet Pro 8500A. Multiple issues; the 'Black/Yellow' print head package contained a Cyan/Magenta print head! So, I received (2) C/M and (0) K/Y units. When the C/M unit was installed into the device it was rejected by the printer as incompatible. The seller instructions indicate I should ignore this message and proceed. Attempted this and the printer entered an extended cycle attempted to align the print heads. The process ultimately failed. Another instruction suggests, "use a knife to tear off the remanufactured print head chip, and then use the double-side tape to paste the original one!" I am unable to utilize my printer. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!
