Possibly, I used 22 and 24 gage 14k gold and 24 gage sterling silver. The width of the necklace is aprox. 1/4 inch.

Q: How flexible is this wire? Does the copper interior ever wear through? I need it for a ring that is worn all day every day.

The wire is flexible and it can bend easily. Every filled metal will eventually wear out, especially when it becomes exposed to moist. after all, it is filled gold.

Q: What does it mean when it says 14k gold filled, is it all real 14k gold, is it just the exterior, if so what's the interior?
