I'll give this 4 stars based on what I feel is a quality product. The latex and cover are well made, and the cover has an inside lining and an outside cover. One star deducted because there is not a whole lot of information given around the density of this latex mattress topper and the seller did not answer my questions posed on this page, but did answer them quickly when I sent them directly to them. This is a firm mattress topper. Actually it is firmer than I wanted and I ended up putting a 1 in. soft latex topper that I had on top of it and I am still trying to find my ultimate comfort position. If you are a back sleeper, this is most likely fine as is. If you are a side sleeper and now bothered by pressure points (like me), then I believe this will be a bit too firm. If you are looking for a firm topper that will not give like memory foam, this is probably your topper. For context, this weighs about 40lbs so you know this has a sufficient amount of material and density to maintain its shape and firmness. There is some slight off gassing, normal for latex, which does not bother me but I have read many reviews by people that are bothered by that. My advice would be to stay away from latex or memory foam then as latex does have a slight odor that in my opinion is somewhat nutty. I have latex pillows as well so again this does not bother me at all but it may bother some. It has been a few weeks and unless I open up the cover to see if I can still smell any odor, I am hard pressed to notice anything above slight or distant.To summarize, I like the quality of the latex material, I really like the cover this is in. It is a firm topper that appears to be able to maintain that firmness for quite some time. It has some off gassing, but very slight and not bothersome in my opinion. It shipped quickly from a US based facility so I received it in about 4 days, maybe 5.

If you want a firm latex topper then this is the one for you.An update review after 2 months of used, it was uncomforable to use and it keep heating up. This is not a real latex. Watch out for any things made in China. Most of it's product is garbage which end up in the land fill. Please don't waste your money and time with this latex mattress topper.
