French Workbook: Workbook exercises for speaking French

I got some of these for my students to use in an intensive GCSE French class. The layout is clear, the topics are well-chosen as those people often need extra practice on, and clear, step-by-step explanations are given. The answers in the back enable the students to self-assess. Overall it makes a great extension activity for able students to pull out and crack on with when they finish the class activities and tasks before everyone else, and you can use it as a resource to photocopy pages from for revision, too.

Despite the claim that the pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting, it was clearly untrue as it was filled with notes. Very disappointing.

I really liked their original French book with all the dialogues. That one gives you so many examples of idiomatic French which is how I like to learn. But the workbook isn't so full, so challenging, nor so accurate as that venerable little paperback.
