We have been encouraged to recycle food waste rather than throw into our garbage; and have a counter top container for that purpose. I used to use small/lunch size paper bags for the container. Unfortunately, the waste/moisture would start to deteriorate the paper. What a mess! Ugh! No more! These biodegradable bags fit perfectly and, as I said, these bags can go directly into food waste recycling. A “win-win” situation. I highly recommend these biodegradable bags.

I wondered if these would be tough enough. They are not as tear proof as say, a Hefty, but it won't last decades in the landfill and add more plastic to the environment either. For most trash they are great.

Great compostable bags for our kitchen collection bin. We use them for our trash collection that requires us to separate our compostable trash. These bags work great. They sometimes start to break down a little depending on what we put in there. They are thin, so they do tear easily, but they are perfect for what we needed and as intended. Excellent product. We have purchased multiple times for our personal use and have purchased them for friends and neighbors.

For some unknown reason my supermarket has stopped selling bags for my compost bin so I have bought them online through Amazon for the first time. This was a really good value product and you get 50 bags in the pack. This will last me for nearly a year so is really good value. The bags were slightly smaller than the bags I had previously bought and I had to pull them tightly to fit them into my countertop compost bin. I will use them but next time round I might look for a slightly larger bag. However, overall these are decent quality and reasonably priced.
