I made the switch to this detergent because of recurring skin sensitivity in my family, and it has made a significant difference. My main priority was finding a product without the dyes and perfumes that are common irritants, and this Tide formula fits the bill perfectly. It is completely fragrance-free and clear, which gives me confidence that we’re not exposing our skin to unnecessary chemicals. After several weeks of use, any issues with skin irritation have completely disappeared. I was initially a bit concerned that a "gentle" detergent might not have the same cleaning power as traditional formulas, but those worries were unfounded. This detergent handles all of our regular laundry loads with ease, from everyday clothes to more soiled items. It works effectively in both warm and cold water washes and rinses out completely. I haven’t noticed any residue left on the fabrics, and our clothes come out feeling soft and genuinely clean. This has become our household's standard detergent. It delivers a thorough clean without compromising on being gentle for those with sensitive skin. It simply does its job very well, providing peace of mind and clean laundry without any problems. The product works and is great for sensitive skin and people with scent allergies it sensitivity. On the other hand, the packaging and delivery be Amazon is atrocious. I came home to a leaking box that managed to get everywhere. When I opened it, I discovered an inch and a half of liquid and absolutely no packaging at all in the box, just the product with a broken lid. After a far too difficult exchange process where I was originally told to ship it back, I managwd to contact a representative that took 20 minutes for a 2 minute resolution and a new one was sent out the following day. The second package had some brown butcher paper for packaging, but was also damaged in transit and I discovered a small crack on the bottom, causing it to slowly leak. I do not recommend buying this from Amazon.

I like it a lot. It cleans well and no extra scent.

Clean and good for my sensitive skin good price and no scent

Great product that removes stains well, dissolves well, didn't leak on arrival, and seems skin safe. HOWEVER, terrible packaging. If you use the measuring cup and don't fully wash and remove all residue, then put it back it will leak all over the packaging. Who thought it was a good idea to have the measuring cup FACE DOWN was a good idea?

Has been helpful for my sensitive skin. There is no scent, I do miss having good scent but I know it helps keep the irritants away so it's understandable. Clothes come out fresh and clean!

I'm scent-sensitive so Free/Clear products are my go-to. For years I was using a 7th generation product but not feeling like the clothing was truly clean. After seeing this product recommended on WireCutter, I have it a try, Great product! Works well in both hot and cold water. You don't have to use a lot in each wash. It rinses out well.

I think it works just as good as regular tide! I switched to the free and clear for baby clothes, there’s no dyes and no scent so it’s perfect for a baby’s sensitive skin

We love tide free and gentle. It has no scent and is gentle enough for my newborn's clothes. We use it for the whole family. It is tough enough to use with cold water as well. This is also an excellent detergent for cloth diapers! I have eczema and this is the only detergent I use. Works great in our high efficiency machine. Not that you have to loosen the cap to get the detergent to flow out. My only complaint is with the measuring cup - if you place it back on the bottle after using, detergent residue will slowly run from the cap onto the bottle and it gets messy. On normal bottles, this residue runs back into the bottle. I'm not sure how Tide could improve this design. I've just stopped putting the measuring cap back on. It is really nice to be able to order heavy products like this and have them delivered right to your door.

I am scent sensitive and this product is totally scent free. I love that. It cleans the clothing well. I use less than the recommended amount and, without fail, the laundry comes out of the HE front load machine nice and clean and without any perfume smells. It is used with the gentle cycle as well as the heavy duty cycle with the same results. The bottle is easy to manage. My only comment would be around the inside ‘lip’ of the container; when you shake it before pouring, some of the liquid pools and (without fail) I end up with some on the floor when I pour. The spill is worth it for the product inside (and my floor gets a little bonus wash lol).

Clothes feel clean-ish. If you have any clothes that you use a lot or in the case you are a sweaty person, it will not remove the odor. Detergent on the clothes seems to be working without leaving any type of irritation in sensitive skin. But the tiniest smell your clothes might have will stay. I would give a 3.5 if the app let me

Muy buen detergente no tiene olor a nada (neutral) el pediatra de mi hijo nos recomendó utilizar mejor Tide para lavar tu ropa ya que padece de dermatitis y la verdad ha funcionado bastante más que otros detergentes líquidos , solo el precio es elevado si deseas comprar el de más litros (galón) que venden en algunos Chedraui (Mexico y Rep. Mexicana) pero vale la pena empezar con estos de 1Lt
