I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did.Other people stated that the pump wasn't sucking the screens down but I learned you have to let it get warm with the silicone peice on. I would take this shot again

I chose the YaeCC based on its temperature range 0*C-400*C, or 32*F to 752*C. While I haven't used an infrared meter to measure its accuracy, the YaeCC does appear to preform its job of heating the plate evenly and not beyond what I desire. I've been using it soften the adhesive of small electronics and to preheat PCBs for rework, so cannot vouch for the vacuum capabilities.It is a convenient size,and has a simple, intuitive user interface.It does have an odd habit of the heating element clicking off briefly and then on again. I cannot tell if that is simply the way it was designed to maintain a certain temperature (turning the heating element off and on so it doesn't go over temp), or if it's a defect.For the price point I'm satisfied with the quality of its build, but if it fails I will return and make note of it.

I got this for working on cell phones and it gets hit enough, sure beats the hair dryer I was using before.The suction did not work as well as I wanted it to. It makes sense but I just wish there was more too it. I wish it came with the clamp mounts.

NO SUCUCTION. However The faceplate is well machined and it does hold its temp as long as you have it above 20C room. I would give it 4 if even it could hold the phone down.

It arrived a day late. Out of the box the suction didn't work ever. It heated up the first time only to 70 degrees Celsius even though I set it for 100, the heating element could never get it there. Just kept flipping on and off at 70. I've attempted to use it despite and it's very inconvenient the metal rails on each side are in the way. Overall it's a complete waste of time and money.

The media could not be loaded. I read all the comments before ordering this product and decided to purchase anyways. I'm very pleased with it so far. I don't think people who complained of the suction problem actually let the silicone pad heat up to temp before applying the smartphone and turning on the vacuum pump. This is essential for creating a seal between the heat-plate and smartphone.I am not a professional smartphone repairman so I cannot compare to any other device but it met my needs and would recommend it.
