Marmite Classic Yeast Extract vegan breakfast spread rich in B vitamins with no added sugar 500 g

You're not even going to be reading this page unless you love Marmite, so you're already a certified, signed up Marmite junkie, right? Forget the puny jars they sell in most shops, they only last a few days. These 500g whoppers are what you need. Delivered to your front door in a set of three they satisfy my Marmite cravings and ensure I never run out (perish the thought) Subscribing saves a decent amount of money, too. I use Marmite on toast mainly, but it's great added to stews, homemade soups, marinades, bread dough, oatcakes and lots more. Have you tried it added to peanut butter on toast yet? Yum. And try a dab with smoked salmon too (on oatcakes) - it brings out an amazing smoky flavour. Shipped double boxed and bubble wrapped, the last delivery I had nevertheless contained a smashed jar. Amazon were fabulous as usual and arranged a free next day replacement. Top marks all round.

UK citizens can be divided into two distinct categories: Marmite Maniacs and Marmite Miseryguts. I fall into the former category and was re-converted to Marmite after living abroad for a few years, devoid of all Marmitey'ness. Upon my return to the UK I met a very lovely and butterfly inducing chappy who persuaded me to try it again and, after the initial shock to the system from the saltiness of it I fell in love with it again (and with him as well!). Move forward a few years and Marmite is still VERY much in my life but the chappy isn't (dammit - and he's now living in Hawaii, sob ... bet he can't get Marmite there though!). Yes, I can HIGHLY recommend this and the big jar of it is very handy too - unless you manage to knock it off a cupboard shelf, as I did and it shatters all over the floor (but if you do do this, be quick cleaning it up and the Marmite won't ooze out all over the floor, just the shattered glass will go everywhere!!). I love this stuff!! :-)

The seller had packed the parcel extremely well. When I unpacked them I found that they had leaked. See photo. There was no breakage at all and the seal was still intact so I assume that they had been lying in a very hot atmosphere at the PO Customs section and that had caused the leakage. They were lying on their sides because the leakage was in the same place in both bottles. I washed the bottles and put them in the store until I need them. I will order it again when the time comes, this time I shall make sure I order them in the colder weather! I recommend both the seller and the product. 4 star is only because of the leak.

What , MARMITE , 3 MASSIVE Tubs on MARMITE and Amazon will deliver it to me ! This is AMAZING , no longer must I scrape that last bit of MARMITE out of my little tub trying to make the most out of it in the days before I next go to the supermarket . No more cravings or withdrawal symptoms , or dare I say forays to the darkside of Peanut Butter , now I can just open my cupboard and grab my spare MASSIVE Tub of MARMITE . And WHAT - even BETTER , I can SUBSCRIBE and get it delivered to me every MONTH, AMAZON you little sneaky devils!! Wow - who needs any other food - I can now live happily off MARMITE and Melted Cheese toasties and never leave the house - life is good. 5 Star without a Doubt!! This jumbo sized jar isn’t always easy to find in supermarkets, but makes a handy cupboard staple (or stocking filler at Christmas) for the Marmite addict. There is enough of the brown sticky stuff here to see a Marmite devotee through several months of breakfasts. Perhaps less, if they use it as I do, in soups and stews, or as a hot drink. One way of making sure you don’t run out, and good value too, if you’re a lover, not a hater.

Sadly the three Jars are inside one Bubble wrap bag, and the three jars smash into each other as nothing keeping them apart. The Bubble wrap bag was in a box, and this box was in another box with Paper around. So should have been ok. But if you put the three jars in one bag and nothing stops them smashing each other to bits you get a Bubble bag full of broken glass and Marmite. I love Marmite but having just spoken to Customer support I was asked to review and mention the poor packaging. No point in reviewing the taste of Marmite, Its like they say you love it our hate it.

We love Marmite in our household. The kids have it on their crumpets for breakfast and the cats absolutely love licking the knife and plate afterwards. I’ve developed a technique to minimise mess too. Because let’s face it, it’s not the easiest to remove and spread!

Taste just the same. Happy to be able to enjoy this size jar as I eat or drink Marmite every day. There was a bit of leakage but nothing significant.
