Comfortable boot right out of the box, great adjustability, good looks, and last over 2 years.
This is my second pair of these boots. My first pair lasted almost 3 years but the souls were slick as slick can be. The boots never broke over, remained comfortable, and if they were resolable, which they are not would have lasted a couple of more years at least. I hated to throw them away because everything was in great shape except for the soles. The best aspect of these boots are they are comfortable from day one and the fact you can tighten and hold or loosen and hold the bottom part of the laces makes this exceptional. If you like your boots tighter, tighten it and lock it in place. If you like your bottom of your boots looser loosing them lock it in place and then you can tighten the top separately. The dark Coyote color hides abrasions and marks very well and the removable hard shank I absolutely love because my first pair of these boots we were trekking out in the woods and I tripped over something and while stumbling trying to keep my balance stepped on a nail that went right through the sole but did not punch her my foot. I used boot repair glue for the whole and like I said were these boots for almost 3 years. I hope they haven't changed the build quality in this new pair I just purchased last month and we'll say they are already broken and 100% comfortable. I just wish the souls could be replaced.

Light and comfortable
Awesome boots my feet were a little too wide for them but they’re great.

Great quality
Bought for my husband, loves this style boot. He works as a GC and puts on 8-10k steps/day and there's little to no break in period, loves the water resistant properties and the support. Fits true to size.. but my husband is a very medium sized person..only wish there was a zipper on the inseam for ease of removal. He'll likely be buying these boots until the day he dies. His last pair finally died after a year and a half (which is saying something for how much he works)!

VERY HAPPY
I was looking for a new boot to try and took a chance on these. Light and the MOST comfortable boot I've ever worn out of the box. Like wearing tennis shoes. Very reasonably priced. I've worn them for two weeks and time will tell and I hope they wear good and last a long time, I'm pretty hard on footwear. I walk up to 15 miles a day for work. I'm VERY happy thus far and would recommend them to anyone.

Boot color is a lie - NOT Coyote
What would otherwise have been a great pair of boots that have great support and cushioning along with a mil-spec zipper is hurt by the fact that they label this boot as "Coyote" in color when it is actually Desert Sand/Tan. I placed the boot next to a variety of other Coyote boots on base and this is clearly a yellow tan of the previous ACU uniform vs. the more orange/brown of the authorized Coyote boot color for OCP. There is no legitimate reason to trick someone into thinking this is Coyote, and even the pictures hosted here on Amazon aren't this light. I'm not sure why 5.11 labeled these this way (I checked the label on the Tongue and it says "Coyote" as well so it was not a misplaced set in the box), but they are obviously misleading. Anyone in the service knows the military is very particular about uniform regulations, and these boots have been questioned twice already in one day's wearing. 5.11: this is not cool, and it deserves your attention to fix. [Image is next to Garmont and then Nike boots, the issue boots are even darker Coyote]

GREAT duty boots
Have had them for about 8 months and they look the same as when I got them, walking through mud and all. I simply just spray the out side with water scrub and let air dry for 2 days to clean them and no stench or anything. Fit, waterproof, foot protection, value for money, only thing I don’t like is the weight, but what do you expect out of a work boot. Oh and my box was damaged upon arrival, but the shoes were fine.

Too Narrow even in Wide
I have owned two other pairs of 5.11 I think they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn they were recommended to me when I was 18 I bought a pair and they fit perfect however these boots are not wide enough and the arch is too high. I have never bought a wide boot in my life. I wear narrow in most cowboy boots but these were just not wide enough in the arch. Otherwise they look like great boots. Would have liked a knife pocket in this model though
