Amazon Basics 15.6 inch Laptop Sleeve Case - Grey

I have the mid 2010 macbook pro 13.3" and it fits perfectly in this sleeve. The materials: The sleeve walls have a nice thickness to them, probably just over 5mm. The inside has a softer, more fluffy layer than the outside. The outside is a kind of squishy material a bit like neoprene (think of what divers and surfers wear) If you spill something on it your laptop probably isn't going to get wet unless you leave it to soak as the seams are not waterproof but then again it isn't advertised as waterproof. As it is a sleeve it isn't made to protect your laptop from great falls, more everyday scratches and what not, but it will take some of the impact if it falls off a bed or a chair although I still wouldn't recommend it. The zipper: On the inside by the opening it has an edge that stops the zipper touching your laptop. The zip itself is good quality with a big handle which is easy to grab and pull. There is only one zipper not two. I know some people like two. The zip goes down the sides a bit which helps with keeping the zip zipped and allows the opening to open enough so you don't need to struggle with fitting your laptop in. I bought this to protect my laptop from the other items in my backpack and so far it has done the job perfectly. It is thin enough so I can still fit in the pocket in my backpack and adds the protection I need when I accidently dump my bag on the floor. I would definitely recommend this, the price may be cheap but the quality is not.

Perfect size for my 14 inch thinkpad, the power cable and mouse also fit in too, to add to it you can also use the case as a mouse pad, it app fits nicely in my work bag, it looks good and feels good so hoping to get a good couple years out of this before a new one will be needed, very happy with this and deffo recommended.

There's many things to enjoy from Amazons offering under their 'Basics' brand, If you need something cheap and doesn't look hideous this soft laptop sleeve is a great offering. I like the navy colour, the design is simple and isn't trying to be too flashy. Previously I bought product in 2019 as a 'light blue' variant for my MacBook Air (2017) and was sufficient for my needs for £7.49, I bought the navy colour for £9.99, the price reflects Amazon's continued effort to offer value. (sometimes the is price lower!) The sleeve will protect your laptop from scrapes and soft drops. As the brand name suggests, don't expect any shoulder straps, secret compartments or hidden pockets, or re-enforced corners. Lastly avoid this if you are hesitant about putting in anything thick or resembling a chunky gaming laptop.

It’s clean with the simple black design and can keep the contents inside somewhat safe with a moderate layer of padding. Can hold the Razer blade 14 in there no issues. With the price you pay for it. It’s definitely worth it as it prevented random dents from appearing on my device

I ordered the AmazonBasics Laptop Sleeve for my 11.6inch HP Pavilion laptop. Although at first it was a very tight fit (obviously its more designed for macbooks which are super thin in comparison to a HP, so I had to put the fat end of the laptop in first to be able to close the zip), with use it does stretch slightly to enable my HP to fit in. The sponge is of decent quality, it looks professional and slick, and does not feel as cheap as its bargain price! It does a good job of protecting my laptop and makes me feel more secure about popping it in my bag whilst travelling around university. All in all it's a very good product - I'm impressed and you can't go wrong with the price! I also really like how basic it is - it just does exactly what you want it to do, so it will slip into your bag easily without clogging up weight and space like a regular laptop bag does. It allows your laptop to be portable without the risk of damage, you just have to make sure your laptop is fully charge when you leave for the day. Although just be aware - if you have an 11.6 inch laptop which is quite thick (unlike MacBooks and chromebooks) it may be advisable to purchase a sleeve of a slightly larger size (12 inch for example) to allow extra space for the thickness.

I have been using the AmazonBasics laptop sleeve to store my Macbook Pro 13.3" (2015 retina) for the past few months, and have found it to be a great sleeve. I use it to make sure my Macbook is protected against anything in my backpack when I'm travelling. The case is mildly waterproof, and offers a perfect fit to my Apple MBP 13.3" 2015. I've thrown my bag around a few times by accident, or had a lot of pressure against the sleeve for various reasons (unintentional), and my Macbook has always came out unharmed, regardless of bumpy train/metro rides, small bag falls etc. The zip works smoothly, I haven't ever had it jam, though I have only ever had my Macbook in it, I don't know how well the zip would withstand stress from a thicker laptop or other object within the sleeve, but knowing the quality of AmazonBasics products, I would assume it could handle it pretty well. Slight warning to pet owners (with animals that cast a lot of hair): the bag doesn't play nicely with animal hair. When placing the case somewhere in a furry environment, the neoprene is a fur-magnet, and it's a huge pain to get off the sleeve. Overall, the bag is great quality for the price. it offers moderate padded shock protection, great for day-to-day travel with your 13.3" laptop, helping to prevent it being damaged from things inside of your bag, or from small drops/knocks. I wouldn't say this sleeve is bulletproof, don't go dropping your laptop off the roof and hoping this bag will save it, it might, but that's not what this was designed for. It does however deal with your daily commute and travel needs, protecting your expensive electronic device.

Sleeve size is not the same as laptop size. you will either get a big/saggy sleeve or something smaller. i had to make 3 purchases to be able to get a perfect and snaggy fit for my 14 inch laptop. After 2 returns, i ended up getting the perfect fit for my 14 inch matebook and this time i got 33.8cm. Trust me this is the perfect fir for a 14 inch laptop like my huawei matebook 14. fits perfectly well and i recommend this size if you are looking for a 14inch sleeve.

Incredible price, great product. Fits my 8" tablet snugly and feels secure. The padding seems nice and thick.

Superb Quality

I needed the sleeve to be a perfect fit for my17.5 " laptop, and it was. Protecting it from scuffs and scratches while transported in my duffle bag.
