Make good use of it
Great to use being the right size and ergonomically constructed. Smaller anemometers I have had got damaged when left in a kit bag but this is sturdy enough to manage knocks and the carry case it comes with adds some protection too. Buttons large enough and pretty self explanatory. Max. read setting is good when I am checking for most significant gusts of wind in m/s.

Nice bit of kit
This is a nice bit of kit if a bit plasticky but it works well and has lots of modes. Comes in a handy travel bag too. You do need to be careful when closing up the bag as it’s too easy to tap the On button and power it up.

good, simple, compact and apparently well made
does the job it was bought to do, seems well enough made, nice and compact and fits in the box with all my windsurfing gear. couple of minor useability issues are that once you set the units that you prefer to work with it never remembers that when you switch off, and when you use the max or min settings they do not record over the same period if time, it is one or the other. None of these things are problems, but slightly better software would make it even more user firendly and worthy of five stars.

Overall I find this wind-meter user friendly; with a firm, comfortable hand-grip.Tip - The carrying case needs a stiffener - cardboard works for me - in the pocket to avoid accidentally pressing the meter's "ON" button in transit, which could result in a run down battery. Also be aware that the sign "mil/h" is actually miles-per-hour and not Nautical miles per hour as described in the manual. A great improvement on the old type of sailing wind-meters..

Value for money
Nice neat device that works very well, the only minor issue is that when you switch it on it does not remember the previous settings. Apart from that it's great and good value for money.

Easy to read and use
Needed an anemometer for my up and coming PfCO licence and this both fitted what I wanted to pay and simplicity of use. Easy to use with the manual, seem robust enough and time will tell on that one.

Pretty good but!
Firstly this meter is twice the size I expected if you want a pocket sized meter this ones not for you. Secondly there is no auto shut off, the power button is very easy to turn on when the meter is in its carry case meaning that the battery went flat between uses. Easy to use and functions are good but there are more convenient meters out there.
