This is a powerful and reliable solution for anyone needing to project their voice over a large area. It can cover up to 20,000 square feet, which was much larger than I needed, but it’s nice to know in case I ever do need it to project that far. This voice amplifier is easy to set up & works well. It is comfy to wear & it makes it EASY to hear the person speaking from across the room. The audio is CRISP & CLEAR. I might wear this around my house so my kids can't say they can't hear me! lol I first purchased it for a group fitness instructor/personal trainer to teach classes, make videos, etc., but am finding it handy for other things too. It is easy to operate. It is well made & durable. I WOULD purchase this again!

I may be the last person that should be writing a review for a karaoke machine but here it goes. I have done karaoke once when I belted out Kryptonite from 3 Doors Down with a fellow employee at a work function. We sounded great, at least in my mind after who knows how many beers and shots. So, I truly wanted to give this a go though and it's official, I can't sing and I tortured my wife with this portable voice amplifier. After struggling a bit (really not much) with the instructions I did get my iPhone to hook up and then found a radio station. So I'm old enough to say I grew up with the Jackson Five and guess what the first song I found that knew was? Well it goes like this: One, two three, ABC. You got it. and I have a fairly deep voice and I asked my wife to hold the speaker while I walked out of the room and started singing (singing is putting it nicely and since this is a family show I will refrain from using the actual words I would use in private to describe what was going on). Bottom line was I got it to work and seemed to work like it should and the volume was loud but since I live in an apartment I could only test that theory so much. Somebody is going to have fun with this thing but after my test run I can only say it won't be me. The one thing I did not like one iota was the microphone set up which is supposed to hang around your neck and hold it in place. That feels and works cheaply. It does not hold it in place and any movement by me and it just bounced around. That is a definite flaw. Not being tech savvy enough I can only say this works as it should from what I can tell and I have only used it once for a short while so really can't speak to battery life and other aspects that I did not try. As far as price I have nothing to compare it to so won't try. The speaker itself feels solidly built and the sound was clear and bright for my older ears.

This product projects well in a noisy welding school environment. It’s a little goofy to carry around but sometimes I have to. Sound quality is very good.

My wife is an activity coordinator for aging in place center and some of her groups are getting large. Large as in 30-40 people! After hearing “honey my voice is gone again” we decided to try a mic/speaker system. This Shidu speaker system feels super solid weighing in at 2.5 lbs. The soft carrying strap is easy on the hands and stays put until you manually ease it off to one side or the other. The first thing we noticed when turning it on is the excessive distance between the Off position and the distinctive click of the On volume switch. There’s something up with this switch. If you adjust the volume lower to the “click” but not making it “click” this machine will turn off. This is a problem. It’s a flaw. I continue to be surprised when problems like this make it through the quality control phase before entering the marketplace. I will contact the distributor and see if this is an isolated instance. My wife says she has gotten used to it. The diagram of the controls and the fine print in the directions require a magnifying glass to decipher! At this price point I would expect something much easier to read. A better way to identify the controls is to go to the online ad and look at the bottom picture. It shows everything clearly and can be enlarged. The volume control on the top of the unit is for the Bluetooth sound and the smaller volume control on the back is for the mic. The headset mic also has up-down volume control buttons which when pressed gives an audible click through the speaker. The headset is comfortable and comes in two pieces that will need to slide together to assemble. It has its own charge port and no visual way to determine battery charge that we could see. The voice audio is loud and clear when the speaker (my wife) spoke in a normal conversational tone. The connection between the mic and the speaker is astounding without any static or dropouts whatsoever. When connected to my wife’s Iphone the fidelity of the music audio was average. A really cool feature is being able to access music via Bluetooth and using your mic at the same time. There is an FM radio onboard that she will not be using. It also comes with a shoulder strap. To summarize: Pros Fast Bluetooth connection Excellent mic to speaker connectivity Effortlessly blends Bluetooth music and your voice. Great voice reproduction Cons Hinky On/Off switch. When turning down the volume this speaker box will turn completely off. This is pretty annoying and you’ll know when it happens because the Bluetooth lady will speak quite loudly for you to connect. Tiny unreadable directions. Its difficult to recommend a product that doesn’t work as designed as evidenced by the above switch.

Love this product, my voice is weak do to surgery, with my new microphone, my voice is very loud and clear. I now have a deaf student in my class. She can hear me very clearly and loud. Thanks so much for this amazing product ❤️❤️

This is very easy to use and performs quite well! We used it on horseback so a professional could do some demonstrations and discuss her actions with the audience. It worked very well!!

Leider ein großer Minuspunkt. Diese über dimensional laute Bluetooth Stimme, die man auch nicht leiser regulieren kann. Stört sehr den ganzen Ablauf. Zudem keine deuschsprachige Anleitung. Geht deshalb enttäuscht zurück
