Why are the ingredients and amounts not listed? I even went to their website and they are not listed there. How do you know what you are paying for?

The ingredients and amounts are listed on every jar. I started using it based on reports from friends who used it and gave me the ingredients. The product is well worth it. The active ingredients are egg shell membrane 198 mg, Hyaluronic acid 24 mg,Boswella serrata extract 15 mg, zanthin natural astaxanthin 39, mg and Vit D3 150iu, inactive ingreietns are chicken meal, dried chicken liver, glycerin, lactic acid, lecithin, mixed tocopherols, potassium sorbate, potato flour, potato starch, sodium benzoate and soybean oil. Hope this helps. I have 4 dogs using it an each dog has had a remarkable reaction to Movoflex. More active, less stiff, nice glossy coats, lots more energy. Sharon

How does this product compare to Synovi 3g (or similar glucosamine product) in terms of effectiveness?

We have a miniature Poodle who hurt his spine last year when he slipped at the bottom of the stairs. We took him to the ER that night but x-rays showed nothing wrong so they assumed just a bruise. The next morning, he had lost the use of his back left leg. Another trip to our vet and Movoflex was advised to guard against the possible early development of problems. It has worked great for the past year and he is in good condition, also loves the "treat" which he gets after his breakfast. Since we never used anything else, I can't accurately answer your question. It's my understanding, could be wrong, but our vet said (as I remember) this supplement guards against future problems and helps to keep them from developing. We order from Amazon and the price is much lower than the 3 mo supply from the vet. Sorry I can't be of more help and hope this, or whatever you decide to go with, works as well for your dog.
