Can additional pieces be bought separately?

I spoke with Pfaltzgraff factory directly. At this time they do not sell individual pieces individually or serving bowls and platters either. According to them this is a very popular item (they were sold out of the set when I called) and they will be adding serving bowls and platters in the near future. Regarding purchasing individual pieces separately they recommended (https://www.replacements.com) Replacements LTD. They specialize in all types and styles of individual china and dinnerware. The cost for 1 dinner plate from this set is $9.99 each or $40.00 for 4. I just bought an additional set here on amazon for $53.99. Made more sense to buy the whole set for 13 dollars more than 4 extra plates would be to me any way. Hope this helps! I love this set by the way the colors are true to form and very nice.

Is the bottom edging, where theres no paint, dry and rough or sealed with glaze like the rest of the dish?

It’s dry but I don’t find it particularly rough. I’m not concerned they will scrape each other when I stack them.

How many ozes do the bowls hold?

32 oz big bowl 24 oz small bowl buy them they are a nice set
