Works out of box with Home Assistant
Was hesitant based on the lack of reviews and the possible need to do some custom stuff to get it to work, but for the price I was willing to do some work if necessary. I didn't need to however, I put my Zigbee2MQTT into join mode and it found it right away, discovered it and started reporting temp, humidity, and lux. I'm using this as an occupancy sensor and the motion sensor works well enough for me, triggers as soon as I walk in the room and as long as I'm moving and not out of the FOV of the eye it keeps the lights on. It works as well as some of the ESPHome devices that I've built with PIR and DHT22 and it's completely wireless compared to those, as long as I'm not replacing batteries every 3 months I'll be happy.

With bracket it is more larger
This sensor is slightly larger than expected, but it offers versatile mounting options. You can use the provided screws or 3M tape for installation. However, removing the mounting bracket is quite difficult and required multiple attempts, which is a notable downside. The sensor comes with 2 pre-installed AAA batteries, so you just need to remove the safety plastic from the battery compartment. It integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant through the Z2MQTT add-on, exposing all advertised sensors. Calibration options are available if needed. The PIR sensor works well, and the humidity readings are consistent with my thermostat. The temperature readings are also accurate. While I can't verify the lux readings due to lack of a comparison device, all other sensors perform acceptably.Overall, it's a reliable sensor with minor drawbacks related to its size and mounting bracket. Hence, I deducted one star.

Works with Home Assistant
I was hoping this would work with my automation system that uses Zigbee2MQTT, but it was not supported. This is odd as it is one of the few devices that are not supported. I did try it with Home Assistant, and it worked ok for the most part. The temperature reading showed 80 degrees, but my other sensors showed 73. For sure it was not 80. So, the temperature accuracy might be off.

Not for Hubitat at this time…
Even though the description says it is compatible with Hubitat, it does not work with my Hubitat C8 with current firmware. Let me clarify…Hubitat C8 is a universal Zigbee hub and this sensor can connect to such hubs. But… every hub needs driver software to use any device. Often this is built in to the hub and automatically assigned, or in some hubs, like Hubitat, specific drivers can be identified and configured, or added as files from manufacturer or development websites.None of these worked with this sensor. Hubitat did correctly connect and identify the manufacturer, Sunrider, and model number, and connected as a Zigbee device, however it did not self configure the driver (because here was no match) and none of the built in drivers of the 10 or so Hubitat generic candidates I selected worked. The Sunrider website was no help, and I found no community developer drivers available under either the brand, Azoula, or manufacturer or on the listing page. So, basically, it’s an unusable device connected to my Hubitat hub.I did not test with Homey or SmartThings which are also shown in the description pics. Home Assistant users have more options and may get this up and running. Some Amazon Echo devices have built in Zigbee hubs, I can not say if it works with those. It’s unfortunate that I can’t use this sensor because there are things I like about it…- Attractive style- Uses AAA batteries instead of coin batteries, batteries were included.- Four functions in one package. Motion, light level, temperature and humidity.Shortcomings…- Noted above, no drivers found for Hubitat, therefore unusable at this time.- No option for mains power connection via USB instead of battery. The box included the sensor with batteries installed, a mounting plate with adhesive and a user guide. (See pic)The driver availability issue could be easily addressed by the manufacturer if they choose. If the availability changes and I locate a working driver for Hubitat, I will update my review.I hope this information was helpful to you.——-This review is for:Zigbee 4 in 1 Multi Sensor - Wireless Temperature, Humidity, Illuminance and Motion Sensor, Requires Zigbee Hub, Compatible with Alexa, HomeKit and Hubitat
