Very nicely written and illustrated book but I was a little disappointed with the examples as they were not all low relief but intaglio and similar. I was looking for a book with much more tutorial on low relief.

great book but too weak with M.E. you will be able to though probably.

Bought for my husband, a keen woodcarver, for his birthday. He was so pleased and thought it an excellent resource book.

Satisfactory range but instruction very shallow. Why do Americans paint a wood carving? If it is going to be painted it might as well be made of plastic.

I found the projects within easy to follow affording much needed practice to aquire skill in use of gouges necessary to advance carving abilities

juste wow! Bonne explication avec image et techniques. Livre en bon état pour un usagé et bon prix, arrivé dans le délai. ****Livre anglais seulement pour ceux débute et qui ne comprennent pas l'anglais attention, la technique est importante. Moi..... je l'adore.

This is a great and informative book on how to do all aspects of relief carving. From carving the subject to wood burning where necessary. Very impressed with this book from start to finish.

Bonjour, un ouvrage intéressant, pas besoin de savoir lire l'anglais pour ce livre les images suffisent pour comprendre le travail à réalisé, toute fois vous pouvez toujours traduire des petites instructions sur google traduction si cela peut vous aidez pour certaines images.Vous trouverez du pas à pas donc très bien fait en images, représentant un canard avec bien sur le motif pour réalisation, de même pour une tête de cerf, ainsi que 2 motifs celtes (classique gothique) il est possible dans faire des dessous de plats. Il y a aussi des formes d'assiette ou ovale pour accrocher au mur, motif bonhomme de neige très sympas, le motif de la couverture, une joli vu d'une maison enneiger avec un phare et un cote visible sur la mer, fleurs de noël très joli aussi et d'autres motifs varier dans je vous laisse le plaisir de découvrir si vous achetez l'ouvrage. Personnellement j'ai beaucoup de livre américain et celui-ci vient compléter ma collection sont aucun regret. Achat que je vous conseille si vous aimez travailler aux couteaux et aux gouges alors n'hésiter pas. Amicalement Sandrine
