Fantastic! I fractured my knee in January and this has been an amazing tool in my recovery. Even though it's thick, it freezes very fast and stayed cold for longer than I needed it on my knee. Back into the freezer and it was perfect again within just a couple of hours. Rinse & Repeat. Highly recommend it. I was looking at fancy cooling machines, but this was just more economical. I'm mobile again, have since graduated from big braces and crutches to a cane and a light brace, but still use this ice pack for pain and swelling. The velcro straps are long and solid, and should fit any circumference. They'll keep the pack in place, but it's not meant to be used for walking around and will slide down. The inner part of the pack is soft fabric, the pack itself is somewhat flexible to wrap around your knee. I'm sensitive and added a tea towel as buffer for my skin. At this price point I have nothing bad to say at all. In fact I'm glad I didn't go overboard by purchasing the cooler machine.

This knee wrap will fit larger swollen legs just fine due to the wraps being longer and it stays in place even if you have to be on the move. I really like how the inner side of it has a soft part that keeps the iced part from being too harsh. It has been helping me keep down the swelling when I am having trouble even walking, can hardly squat, and have very limited mobility. I’m pretty sure I could use the ice pack in other areas if I need to so that’s a plus. I believe this is a good product and overall pleased I chose this one.

I got this for my son’s knee to help him with his pain relief in his knee. It did help with his pain. It’s versatility is useful. The size was a little big for my son because he’s only 13. However, we were still able to manage to make it work. As far as washability, it definitely needs to be cleaned by hand. We haven’t used the heat, so I don’t know about how well the heat retention is with it-my guess is it holds heat well. It does work well coming out of the freezer. It’s made of high-quality so I think the longevity of it lasting will be good.

This worked great and fits great and it’s cold for 25 to 30 minutes. It is worth a buy.

I injured my right knee, but didn’t see about it in a timely manner and my left knee started giving me trouble for overcompensating. I absolutely love these! The gel pack allows me to use a cold pack and go right to sleep instead of worrying about timing or having the ice too cold or used too long. They also help with the bracing of my knees at night if I fall asleep with them on. They’re easy to use, straps are strong, and easy to refreeze as needed. They store flat in the freezer and have the right amount of gel inside to compensate for good cold therapy. Because of their design, I can adjust the temperature if needed by using the other side. Nice job!

Worked so well, we now own TWO! If you get a great deal on these, order 2 so you can switch them out. We've used on knees AND shoulders following injuries/ surgeries.

I’d give this 3 stars — it works, but not exactly how I was hoping. I bought it expecting more of an “iced knee brace” feel where it stays tightly in place and wraps securely around the knee. It doesn’t quite function like that, so if that’s your main goal, it may fall a bit short. That said, it is still useful for general icing. It gets cold enough and does the job if you’re just looking to apply ice to the knee area while resting. You just may need to adjust or hold it in place more than expected. Quality seems fine overall — no major issues there — it just comes down to expectations vs. how it actually fits and functions. If you want a simple ice pack, it works. If you’re specifically looking for a brace-style wrap that stays put during movement, you may want to look at other options. Pros: • Works well for general icing • Gets sufficiently cold • Decent overall quality Cons: • Doesn’t function like a true knee brace • Doesn’t stay securely in place as expected

I bought 2 of these gel ice packs for swelling, painful knees. Best quality I have ever used. I don't understand the reviews stating they don't stay cold long, except they may not have chilled long enough. The guide card shows the more minutes they're chilled the longer they stay cold. I chilled mine overnight & they stayed cold 40 minutes. If you flip them over to the nylon side half way through they last even longer. But be very cautious: do not wear more than 20 minutes. These are so cold I got frost bite on both inner knees. That was my fault wearing them too long and not using a cloth barrier on the nylon side. The soft felt side is very comfortable. The velcro straps are extra long and very strong. I can walk without them sliding down. They gel is so good in these that they are stiff when frozen. But I found if I roll them when freezing they will form around my knee better. They are a good size and almost wrap all the way around my knees. Just depends on the size of a person's legs. I highly recommend these, especially for this amazing price, as compared to others I've had not as good of quality.

I ordered 2 pieces of the dark blue ice pack but received only 1 dark blue pack and a smaller light blue one. The bigger dark blue ice pack is as described. It covers a big area and the 2 straps give good compression. The smaller light blue ice pack doesn’t cover much area and has only 1 strap. So, it covers less area and gives less compression. Not so effective.
