We recently ordered a mattress that is SO SLIPPERY! It’s been driving us crazy as you can’t move even in the slightest without making the sheets shift and slide with you. Every morning we would wake up with the corners of our deep-pocket fitted sheet off of the mattress and a total sloppy mess.After trying some other possible solutions that did a poor job at keeping our sheet secured, we decided to order this hoping that totally encasing the mattress would help. WOW! What a difference. We’ve been sleeping great and have had zero issues since we put this on our mattress!Getting it on the mattress for the first time was a two person job, but zipping/unzipping the top is so easy! Breathability is great, there is no noticeable noise, and no smell to speak of.Absolutely perfect for our needs!

So I am all about mattress protectors for a variety of reasons. When my hubby and I bought our tempur pedic mattress finding a mattress cover that wasn't $280 and fit correctly was a challenge. Our sheets kept sliding off, the fit wasn't right, and im all about FULL mattress encasement. This mattress protector is as everyone says, the zipper can snag, yes. But if your paying attention and not rough with it, it'll be fine. This mattress protector is great, no sheets slipping, no plastic noise, no bunching, IMO 100% worth it!

This is a great product for anyone too weak to move the mattress to remove & reattach the mattress protector. I moved to this apartment 3 years ago. I don't know anyone which means I have to do everything by myself. I love being independent but unfortunately being a single woman in her 40s with a lot of health problems makes it harder to get things done. I bought a regular slip-on Allerease mattress protector when I bought this bed. I had no idea there's been easier mattress protectors that exist. It was awful getting asthma, struggling with moving the mattress to slip on the first one I bought from Walmart. It was hell going through every time I needed to remove & put back on when it needed to be washed. My health kept getting worse & I had to find something fast. This version of an easier mattress protector was the only one that was clear about how it works when I did a search on Amazon. Delivery was fast. It's been much, much easier & better to remove & attach than the major hassle I had to put up with! But all Allerease products are more expensive than they're worth. I was SO UPSET when the zipper got stuck. I was so close to returning it. But finally, I managed to safely get the zipper out of being caught on the unnecessary piece of cloth under the zipper. I highly suggest that if you get this mattress protector, be very careful with the zipper. Try zipping it slowly so that it won't get caught in the fabric underneath it. Honestly, Allerease need to lower their prices & if they want to charge as much as they do, then they need to IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCTS, especially modify the current design so the zipper doesn't get caught in fabric underneath that easily gets loose threads that mess up the zipper. In the meantime, I'm going to look into getting a refund for the old one that was a huge hassle to handle.

This mattress cover is so nice. To wash you just unzip the top part. Easy!

The full size does NOT fit a 14-inch thick mattress.I bought this because it was recommended by the Wirecutter. It might be great if it fits your mattress, but you better measure your mattress to make sure it is thinner than 14 inches.I measured my mattress and it is 14 inches thick. This mattress protector is advertised as fitting a 14-inch thick mattress, but it does NOT. I doubt it would even fit a 13-inch thick mattress. It was no where near large enough to fit my 14-inch thick full-size mattress.

Easy to put on. Zipper is hidden afterwards, so nothing will get caught on it.
