I loved reading these books as a kid so when my sister wanted it I had to get it. I’m surprised they are still coming out with books so had to make sure she had the new ones. Super easy to read and sometimes funny too.

You really can't go wrong with any book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series! My 5th grader got this for a Christmas present and then loaned it to my 4th graders for our classroom library. It has been read quite a bit and all have enjoyed!

It was a great book and really made me laugh. As a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, it was naturally funny. It made me laugh the whole time; great book! 5 stars.

This was a gift for my nephew who loves this series. He has the complete collection now.

Good, funny, and good twists. All I think they should add is more excitement. It is a little bit boring.

Great Christmas gift for our 11 year old nephew who loves this series!

We are not new to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and Hot Mess is another book my child asked me to buy. For me, that’s the best sign possible — it means this series is genuinely loved and enjoyed. We used to have some struggles with reading — it felt more like “practice” or “homework.” Now? I sometimes hear my child laughing while reading this book. Honestly, hearing your kid laugh because of a book is the best review a parent could give. I also work at a school and see kids every day. Of course, not all of them, but many choose to grab a Wimpy Kid book during free time instead of just running around or playing games — and that makes me really happy to see. If your child isn’t very excited about reading yet, I highly recommend trying this series. If you’re looking for a book that can spark interest in reading — you’re definitely on the right path with this one. Funny, easy to read, and it actually makes kids want to keep turning the pages!

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift and he loved it. He finished reading the book in a week. He's a big fan of wimpy kid and has all the volumes including this latest one. Highly recommended.

My 13-year-old son still enjoys reading each new book in the series, it makes him laugh every time, as the language is easy enough to understand by a French teenager. It's a nice way to make them read in English. ;-)
