My friends moved to Palm Springs CA and always have guests. They have two guest rooms so I bought two. They always refered to their home as "Casa LastName" which I had engraved so they could put in the rooms for guests to write about their stay - like when you stay at an Inn. I was the first to put in an entry noting my fun stays there and my appreciation for always opening up their home, not just to me. When they opened the gift - they loved it! My friend read my entry, with tears in her eyes. It was loving and funny and they just thought it was creative and very much appreciated it. I recommend this as a personalize journal or whatever. Just make sure if it is a gift, leave a note or entry.

It's a standard, no-frills notebook. It feels great in hands and the included ribbon bookmark is a nice touch.

As a writer and lyricist, this leather-bound notebook is a nice addition when on the go! I have used this for some time and it works as it should...writing things into it! Has a placeholder to mark pages and the feel of it is of good, decent quality and has held up thus far! I like that it's slightly smaller than standard notebooks so it can fit into my briefcase bag and use it wherever I am at! I've also used this for work purposes and have no real complaints! Would recommend!

Very simple to use journal nothing very special about it but good cover, good spine and nice thick pages. Highlighters work on it depending on the high lighter. The wet drippy ones will soak through but the standard ones work good. Not a lot of pages, depending on usage I'd say this is a good monthly journal if you're using it daily.
