Leave it at night near the kitchen/bin and it works.
I switched off lights and left it on during the night, next day it captured most of Gnats that were annoying. I did not expect that number of gnats. First night catched 11. *For Arab and Gulf countries, you need an adapter as the switch is an American switch. No need to change the voltage to 220v.

Product not compatible with UAE plugs you need an adapter. Only a couple of flies were caught but plenty are flying around.

Best product I've found to catch d gnats and flies. Put one in each room. It worked wonderfully. Nice low brightness that can be used as a nightlight also. Easy to set up and change refills. Catches everything. Looks nice against the wall. It also twists sideways for under cabinet use.

It has been more than a day since we plugged in. We left it on in the night with other lights switched off. The area has a lot of fruit flies but it has not caught even a single one.
