I absolutely love these brushes. My only qualm is that the black hairs do shed on my face from time to time. The other brush hairs seem to stay in no problem. I am able to do practically every makeup technique you can possibly find online or in the industry whether it’s “baking” or “setting” there’s a brush for literally every need and makeup look. There was no smell to the brushes that I noticed but I made sure to wash prior to use. They are all very soft which makes it very easy to apply wet and dry makeup.

Wowza! I collect, love, and use high-quality brushes, including MAC, Rephr, IT, and BK brushes. I was trying to decide what to pick up during the Sephora sale and thought I'd do some comparison shopping, which led me to come across these. I was about to choose one brush from that sale, saw these and thought "why not check these out" - ordered them and WOW! These are incredible quality brushes! The brushes of one with a guide that explains what each brush is used for, as well as the makeup of the bristles, including goat hair, horse hair, and synthetic fibers. I can't speak to the longevity of these brushes, but what a treat to have found these! I don't usually write reviews, but these are worth sharing my feedback on! These brushes are as good as any of my other brushes... Buy these; you won't regret it. If you don't like them, you can send them back. Enjoy :) xo

I’ve been doing makeup for 12 years and safe to say, I’m shocked! With everyone turning to fully synthetic brushes (I really wish MAC didn’t) I had to search for natural hair brushes. These checked every box. 1.) natural hair fibers aside from the clearly labeled synthetics. 2.) PINCHED FERULLES! You know that part closest to the handle that holds it on? Yeah that’s not coming off if you accidentally dry it wrong. 3.) they perform well. Application is a breeze. The short duo fiber and the rounded slant are my two favorite brushes. Honestly I wish I could buy the short duo fiber on its own. I wish there wasn’t so much writing on the brushes, it’s not needed. Yes there is a smell when you open them but they literally warn you if you read the info card in the box. I wiped mine down with alcohol and poof smell gone. I’ve had minimal shedding. They include plastic mesh brush sleeves to help keep the shape and I cut mine in half so I didn’t have to touch the bristles after I washed them. Tip to get the sleeves back in shape: drop in near boiling water and they shrink right back! I liked them so much I ordered a second set for my kit.
