Scott Martin, the Latin Soul saxophonist, is releasing his fourth CD, 'Organic Voodoo Juice'. It is another powerful musical statement from Scott Martin and his Latin Soul collaborators, once again straddling the musical genres of Jazz, Latin and Soul. Scott Martin's Band has captured some magical musical moments on this CD. Featuring the B3 organ sounds of Joe Bagg, this CD is reminiscent of the sounds of the classic organ groups of the 1960's. This CD also features the drums of Ramon Banda, a great drummer well respected all over the world. Rene Camacho anchors the rhythm section on bass. Joey DeLeon plays his distinct percussion sounds. The Martin Brother Horns add their horn expertise, and Rick White plays some great guitar as well as contributing some compositions and vocals. A LATIN SOUL CLASSIC!!

something for everybody
Bebop, funk, Latin, rock, soul, gospel, pop! good gosh, it's all here. what's there not to like. If you claim to like all types of music, it's all here in one fun package. They obviously don't take the singing too seriously on the couple of vocal tunes, but the musicians enveloping the singer are serious players. I Was not familiar with Scott Martin until recently and I'm glad I found him. This CD is great fun for old school cats as well as you younger dudes. great musicianship and a good example of how tasty the correct blend of musics can be when done artfully. Good for you, Scott!
