The vegetarian no beef base is amazing. It is the perfect base for minestrone. I like this better than the no chicken base. It really curbs cravings having soup for my meals when using this base. It adds so much depth of flavor to vegetable soups now, similar to those beef flavored canned soups i used to love before becoming a lifelong vegetarian.

I use this quite a bit, but usually buy it from a large bulk warehouse. This was too small for the money. The quality was fine.

Great for vegetarians, looking to add deep flavor to their vegetarian broths. It saves so much time in the kitchen as the broth requires only a teaspoon or so to really enhance the flavor!

I purchased Better Than Bouillon No Beef Base Vegetarian for my daughter who hasn't eaten meat for over three years. She's a college student who will have her own kitchen this year and I came upon this product while looking for products she might like to have on hand. I decided to use my Instant Pot to make a veggie soup last night, using this product as the base. I took 1tsp and placed it into 8 ounces of boiling water. NOTE: The base has a tar-like consistency, so it's tough to get an exact measurement and boiling hot water is important because it needs that heat to dissolve. Make sure to clean the rim of the jar before storing in the refrigerator or you'll have a tough time getting the jar lid off. I tasted it and was delighted to find that it tasted 'better than' beef bouillon! Amazing stuff really. It uses onions, carrots, and celery along with other magic to create a taste that is spot on - even for a carnivore like me. Beef-like flavor is wonderful and I think most beef-eaters like me would find it tough to tell the difference. The soup was a hit, and both my daughter and I are excited to use this product to make gravy, add to stir fry, and to add additional richness and flavor to soups and burgers. It's expensive by comparison to cubes, but really delicious!

I used this to make vegan "ground beef" the flavour was there! This stuff is great and I will buy it again for sure. It's a thick liquid and you will have to keep it in the fridge after opwning.
