I purchased this solar light for the flagpole. Very happy with purchase. It was easy to screw onto the flag post. Very reasonably priced as similar lights from flagpole companies were over $80 dollars more than this one. It is bright enough to showcase the flag at night and also the ground below. Extremely bright light. I am not sure how long the lifespan will be as it was just installed. I can review that at a later date. Functions beautifully and we have received many compliments from our neighbors. I was extremely pleased with the price, results, and overall quality. Our flagpole extends to 25ft and purchased a 4x6 flag. I have nothing negative to report at this time.

This pole light shines much better than my old one which gave up the ghost after over 5years. This one is half the thickness of the old one so it had to be "McGivered" onto the pole. It was a minor undertaking. Hopefully this one lasts as long as my old one.

Nice and bright

I ordered this due to the way it mounts, who it benifits and the cost. Only thing it lacks is more lumens. However it works well and stays lit. I feel you cannot go wrong with this. Just hope it lasts a long time. If you need more light then compare to other brands and compare the lumens the light puts out. Battery life: Can only hope for years of use not a year but the cost is good and is supports the vets. Brightness: Could be better Looks good and tight but who knows Ease of use: It works on it's own pending the sun light it gets Water resistance: Looks good and tight but who knows. Lifespan: Not to sure but I am hoping and praying it lasts Fit: Fit up there well no issues.

This one works! One must pay attention to the info on the product page of Amazon to be sure this is the right solar light for your flag pole. The pictures are a bit misleading in that a 15 foot flag pole normally has about a 3' x 5' flag. The solar light has a 9.4" diameter, thus is not anywhere near so big as shown in the pictures. I think the point of the pictures is to demonstrate that this light is capable of lighting up the whole flag even while waving, and then some--which is true. The light not only covers the flag but goes all the way to the ground, making an impressive viewing of the flag on high on its pole. We've had no problems with it at all over nearly a month, and it held up well to 55 mph winds and heavy rain. Just follow the directions. We were originally sold an "on-pole solar light" when we bought the flag pole. We were told it would light up the flag from below! The solar light lights up, but does nothing at all for the Flag, whereas this purchase is perfect and does a complete job while fulfilling the statute requirements of light on the USA Flag at night.

This worked great for almost a year but now I noticed it does not stay lit the whole night. When it was working well it illuminated the glad well. Now, 9/10 hours in the light is very dim.
