We recently remodeled our back yard patio area, and we needed a way to tie back drapes that hang from our pergola. These are long enough to go around the posts and tie the drapes securely. We have had multiple severe storms this year - some with winds in excess of 50-70 mph, but they have held beautifully.

I have been a loyal Nite-Ize user for more than a decade. I've purchased dozens of packs of their reusable ties, and have used them so much that many of them have worn out. The wire inside eventually fails and the tie becomes shorter. These little gems cost half the $ as Nite-Ize, and appear to be lighter duty, but longer than any that Nite-Ize sells. I was attracted to the longer, and more versatile length. So far they've performed flawlessly and I have purchased multiple packs to have them in my truck, shop, and barn.

We use these to batten down our umbrellas when the wind comes up. They last a long time and we highly recommend them.

These are great for a number of uses. They are long (you can get different sizes, these ones I'm reviewing are 32"). The ties themselves are quite flexible, not at all hard to bend or twist or mold, but they also hold very well. In other words, their flexibility doesn't at all mean they slip or come untwisted, etc. They're heavy duty and their length makes them suitable for wrapping around large items or hanging from somewhat high hooks to be in reach and so forth. I used one to wrap two heavy-duty outdoor extension cords (60' and 30') and then hang them from a hook out of the way. No issue at all. We'll bring two on our camping trips as a "Just in case" support item. Good for indoor or outdoor. Will probably buy a pack of the smaller ones as well. Very pleased!
