Serves it's purpose.
Great multi pack for kids. It works as it should. And the Velcro closure is a plus. Very durable and stays in place.

Great splints, works well
I gouged my finger wide and deep with a saw, and needed something to stabilize my finger so the cut wouldn't keep opening. I got these since I figured they'd work better than two popsicle sticks taped to my finger. The splints arrived exactly as shown and described. They work great for me, and there's nice adjustability with being able to bend the splint open or squeeze it tighter so fit fingers as needed, and the velcro straps are nice. With the foam and holes in the aluminum, I found the splints to be breathable. Aluminum is very light weight, so I don't find these to be too heavy even after several hours. I like that there's different sizes so I use them on different fingers in the future if needed. I suppose one could use them on toes too. They seem completely reusable too, which is great.

Good enough!
I glanced at some of the other reviews, felt they were being a bit critical. Its a basic finger split. It is a shaped piece of aluminum folded over with foam and velcro to augment the purpose. Simple design, simple to use. 3 different sizes. One reviewer commented on the "blue seal" peeling... - this seal is just a film over the aluminum to protect it from scuffs. This film would be more fitting for a cosmetic product, meaning something that the fit and finish matters. For this finger splint they probably shouldn't have left the film on, but it's no big deal. One other comment was on it not being comfortable. It doesn't cause pain, it doesn't make your finger feel better (other than immobilizing it), it holds your finger straight, so it isn't natural feeling - it feels awkward is the best way to put it, but ANY split would do that.

Have attachment Velcro straps, you may not need to add tape to them.
* Overall Impression:-This is a good value for a set of 3 metal immobilizing finger splits with inner foam padding in 3 different sizes.-They have attachment Velcro straps (1 strap on the little finger one, 2 on the others) and you may not need to add any medical tape to them to fit them or keep them on.-Note: The blue is a film covering that is removable over the silver metal below them. You can use or wear them with the blue film on them or removed with the silver metal under the film.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Excellent value for the quality, style and quantity.-3 included in 3 different sizes (1 of each size).-Labeled in the inner zipper closure bags as S, M, L.-3 sizes: S, M, L. The S (small) is for the little finger the others longer fingers or thumbs.-Sizes: L (large): 3.4 inches long, M (medium): 3.14 inches long, S (small): 2.16 inches long.-Very lightweight, aren't heavy to wear.-Blue film over a silver metal outer with inner soft padded blue foam, with open sides.-The blue is a film on the outer part of the brace, it can be removed and they can be used with the silver metal vs the blue film. They are silver toned under the blue film.-Very sturdy material.-Aluminum alloy.-Flexible (for fitting and opening and closing them, but you can't bend or flex your finger).-Very soft foam padding on the sides and tip of the finger. 1 cm 0.39 inch thickness of the foam padding.-The brace also covers the tip of the finger.-Easy to fit and adjust.-1-2 (1 on the S, 2 on M, L) outer Velcro closure straps on them to secure them. They are in a loop on the outer brace so they don't fall off and are easier to adjust. You may not need to add any medical tape to secure them. They measure 5.7 inches long.-No unpleasant scent or odor to them.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No instructions included. See the listing pictures for how to fit them and wear them.* Tips & Thoughts:-If you need to protect your finger from moisture or air, adding a silicone finger cot, finger sleeve or cover (of your own, not included) may also be helpful.-You can layer bandages, bandaids, pads under these if you need to.-You probably won't need to add your on medical tape to these like you have to the style without the Velcro attached straps. However, some people may have to, especially for the little finger one with only one strap vs two on the loner ones. I think most people will be able to keep these on without added medical tape, but if you have difficulty keeping them on, just get some medical tape and use it in addition to the straps (not over the straps but below or between them).-You won't be able to bend your finger at the finger knuckles with these on. They do provide immobilization for bending the finger.-However, you can still move your finger at the attachment from your hand, but not further up. So if you need further immobilization you may need a different style if you need to not move your finger at at all. You can wiggle and move your finger at the base of your hand with these but not at the knuckles.-Be careful during bathing or hand washing, or a task like washing dishes. They'll hold up fairly well with the foam, but I'd take them off during bathing if you can (or better yet use a cover over them), even though you'll need to leave them on during hand washing. If you wash dishes or submerse your hands, you may want to wear gloves. Eventually with too much and too long of moisture exposure the foam will degrade and fall apart. I've had this happen with every one (from any brand) I've ever used, but I usually get at least half way through the weeks of wear or more before it does. So keep an eye on the foam and water not to get it too wet. When you wash them be careful as well not to soak them.-Be sure and measure your finger to be sure they will fit, compare the sizes in the pictures.-These are good to have in your medicine cabinet, go bag and first aid kits just in case. I also keep medical tape as well just in case.-You can use them on your toes temporarily if you have to, but one made for a toe is better on a toe.-Note, as they are metal, you won't be able to shorten them or trim them to a shorter length.

Easy to put on and isolates hurt fingers well
Having been an athletic trainer in school we used finger splints to isolate athlete's sprained and strained fingers before a doctor could see them, so I was happy to add these to my home first aid kit. The Misorita Finger Splints are well made and the velcro straps are easy to tighten. The splint kept my finger straight and covered my finger perfectly on the side. They would be perfect if the inside part on the base didn't extend as far because it hit the palm of my hand. The 3 sizes fit all of my fingers (medium-sized woman's hand) and my teen daughters, the measurements listed online are correct and are a good guide to make sure they will fit your hand.
